Coming off a 17-point performance and a dominant second half in a win for Pines Charter over St. Thomas Aquinas earlier in the week, the junior point guard elevated his play even further with 27 points in a victory over The Villages. Dawson consistently created offense off the dribble, scoring efficiently at all three levels while putting steady pressure on the defense by getting to the free-throw line. He also showed strong command of the game, taking care of the ball and making sound decisions for the Jaguars. With his continued growth and impact, Dawson is trending upward and will move up in our updated 2027 rankings at the end of the season.

In a matchup featuring two of the state's top point guards in the 2027 class, The Villages came up short against Pines Charter, but [player_tooltip player_id='2194383' first='Aaron' last='Britt'] delivered an impressive individual showing. The junior finished with 20 points, knocking down four three-point field goals, and consistently asserted himself on the offensive end. Britt's combination of strength, toughness, and aggression stood out, as he proved capable of creating his own scoring opportunities while also facilitating for others. A true lead guard with a scorer's mentality, he showed why he is regarded as one of the nation's top point guards in his class.

One of the state's premier shooters was dialed in Friday night during the opening-game win over Coatesville (PA). The senior guard poured in 22 points, highlighted by six made three-pointers, and consistently stretched the defense with his shooting range. Fox shows excellent shot preparation and a quick, compact release, allowing him to get his jumper off under pressure and well beyond the arc. For college coaches in search of proven shot-making, Fox checks every box.

One of the state's most prolific scorers, Westbrook stayed hot on Saturday, finishing with 25 points in a 73–63 win over Olympia. The junior has a natural scorer's mentality, finding ways to impact the game at all three levels—attacking the rim, knocking down open threes, and converting efficiently in the midrange. He was also active on the defensive end and consistently made smart reads, showcasing a high basketball IQ. With his current momentum, the Raider looks primed for a strong close to the season and a productive offseason ahead.

Providence's senior guard was outstanding in two wins for the Stallions in Punta Gorda, setting the tone with his energy and competitiveness on both ends of the floor. The Jacksonville State signee played with consistent aggression, using his high-level athleticism to attack the rim, create for teammates, and defend multiple positions. His improved jump shot was evident, adding another dimension to his offensive game, and he finished with 18 points on Saturday to help Providence hold off a tough Coral Glades squad.
