Previous Rank: #5

Current Rank: #3

Robinson moved into the top 3 of these rankings for a number of reasons, one of them being a growth spurt, and the other being the fact that he's been one of the best guards in the entire state to start the season. The 6'2” lead guard has always been very skilled, but now that he's grown to be a good sized guard he's become nothing short of dominant and probably the best player in the Beach District already. He's a killer who has deep range and the ability to create space off the bounce, he's a tough nosed defender who can guard on the ball and jumps passing lanes, and he has a swagger about him that he knows he's good and he's ready to prove it to whoever has to guard him.

[player_tooltip player_id='2353668' first='Kamdon' last='Brangman-Cain'] | 6'4” SF | Blue Ridge

Previous Rank: #10

Current Rank: #7

Brangman-Cain transferred to Blue Ridge from Gainesville where he was one of the top young players in the DMV, and since transferring and reclassifying he's showing that he's a player division one coaches should get on sooner rather than late. The 6'4” lefty wing looks the part with great positional size and length, and he's a big time athlete as well that will translate to any level. He's a menace in transition with his ability to push it and finish above the rim, he can knock down open shots from deep, and he has all the tools to be a lock down defender too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2921126' first='Khing' last='Terrell'] | 6'2” SG | St. Stephen's St. Agnes

Previous Rank: #13

Current Rank: #11

Terrell moves up a couple of spots in the rankings after a big summer and impressive preseason, as he's a player who is still waiting his turn but should be a breakout player in the DMV over the next few years. The 6'2” off guard is a walking bucket who can score it in bunches and has a great frame that should continue to grow and fill out that will make him even harder to guard. He is great in isolations with the ability to get to spots and rise up over defenders, he changes speeds well with good burst to get to the rim where he's a crafty finisher, and he moves well off the ball to get open and can set his feet to make shots on the move.

[player_tooltip player_id='2548144' first='Talon' last='Graves'] | 6'1” SG | Hayfield

Previous Rank: #45

Current Rank: #43

Graves is a player that just has “late bloomer” wrote all over him, as he's certainly still growing and has all the signs that he'll be a big time athlete and has shown he already knows how to play the game. The 6'1” guard plays the game in a win coaches anywhere would love, with great energy and a high motor and the willingness to accept any role that helps his team win. He's a scrappy defender and a good rebounder for his size, he runs the floor and crashes the glass hard offensively, and he can make open shots and get to spots with limited dribbles to score it.
