Shooters Lighting Up the 704

He has always been a sniper from distance and is now becoming a more well rounded player with time. White is averaging 15.9 Points, 2.3 Rebounds, 1.3 Assists, and 1.8 Steals. He's got 42/41/80 splits and has made 58 threes through 16 games per MaxPreps. Concord Academy is sitting at 22-2 and Raper is averaging 13.5 Points, 3.8 Rebounds, 3.4 Assists, and 1.5 Steals on 46/43/77 splits. He can play the on the ball as well where he's really comfortable operating in ball screens with the attention his shooting commands really allowing the floor to open up. He's made 78 three's this season and is proving to be one of the best shooters in NC along with one of the best available seniors in the state regardless of position. Nix is averaging 25.4 Points, 6.7 Rebounds, 2.5 Assists, and 2.2 Steals on 44/36/85 splits. Nix has to do almost everything for his team and they're off to a really strong 3-1 record in conference play after a loaded non-conference slate. Nix has made 65 threes in 21 games on the season and has maintained a really respectable percentage despite the volume and difficulty of the shots he takes. With many of the other primary contributors at Cannon being underclassmen or juniors alongside Nix, he has to do a lot of different things for this team to win and he's more than ready for the challenge. The Mustangs are 12-6 and 3-1 in conference play on the season with the shot making and spacing Hall provides being a major reason. Hall is averaging 8.7 Points, 3.7 Rebounds, and 2.1 Assists per game this season. He's doing that all on 37/38/89 splits this season. Hall is known as a marksmen from distance but also stands out as a secondary playmaker for this team, he makes good decisions as a passer, and is a true connecting piece on the offensive end of the floor. Charlotte Latin is 14-7 and [player_tooltip player_id='3447414' first='Emory' last='Chaney'] is their leading scorer as a freshman in a system that requires you to really know how to play the game. Chaney is averaging 17.6 Points, 3.8 Rebounds, 3.4 Assists, and 1.4 steals on 45/38/87 splits. No matter how you look at it, that is truly impressive for a freshman to come into a program with real pedigree and do what he's doing right now. The shooting is really impressive for a kid to have hit 43 3s in 21 games on 38% from beyond the arc. He's a true on ball guard that can make plays for himself and others at a really high level for this stage.
