Beloit Memorial simply had no answer for the 6'7 junior out of MAS on Wednesday night. Going up against a very guard-heavy team, Brown was taking full advantage of his size on the block. He was pick & roll threat with his agility at his size, could go to work with his back to the basket, and was dominating the glass on both ends of the floor. If he caught anywhere near the basket, he was likely putting two points on the board. Really intriguing blend of length, athleticism, and budding skill. He finished with 30 points and 26 rebounds in the win.

With [player_tooltip player_id='3218220' first='D'Anthony' last='Brown'] commanding the paint, [player_tooltip player_id='3021059' first='Bryan' last='Epps'] provided the outside shooting presence that MAS needed to keep the defense honest. Lose track of him for even a second, and Bryan will find a pocket of space and make you pay with his quick release from three. Epps also excelled as a P&R ball handler, able to find Brown rolling to the basket for a number of easy looks. Good vision and passing accuracy to thread the needle through small gaps in the defense.

After a slow start to the season by his standards, Doodie dominated last night in a win over Shoreland Lutheran. The Minnesota football commit was on the board early with a pair of steals leading to transition buckets, and from there had his full game on display. He shook his defender off before draining a three at the halftime buzzer, played scrappy on ball defense, and was able to get into the lane for a number of assists throughout the game. One of the best all-around athletes in the state of Wisconsin.

Now listed at 6'3 as a junior, Johnny has a nice basketball frame out on the perimeter, with the shooting touch that coaches like. Against a scrappy St. Cats team he did a nice job of moving without the ball to create his scoring opportunities, hitting some threes off the catch while also blowing by bad closeouts to get into his one dribble pull-up. His frame allows him to get up in passing lanes defensively, and he showed he could move his feet with the smaller St. Cats guards. He's averaging a team leading 16.2 ppg for a 9-3 team this season.

Despite committing to play soccer at UW-Parkside, Owen is a versatile player on the hardwood as well. At 6'1 his strength and toughness help him play bigger than his size, and you'll often see him coming up with rebounds in a crowd. He likes to push the tempo for his team as he can handle it well under pressure and has impressive vision while sprinting full speed up the floor. Just about every time I see him play Owen is creating countless good looks for his teammates. He leads his team in rebounds and assists this season, and is a big reason that they're 9-3 on the year.

Grafton simply had no answer for Jack on Thursday night. He sat out a good chunk of the first half, and played less than three minutes in the second, but still managed to put up 24 points in impressive fashion. For the first bucket of the game Jack slashed to the rim for an alley-oop dunk, and that set the tempo for the game. Throughout the night Jack could be seen draining threes, throwing down two more dunks, and showcasing his impressive vision out of the block. One of the most versatile players in Wisconsin.

The big lead for Slinger allowed freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2853468' first='Noah' last='Pressley'] to see an extended run on Thursday night. For his first bucket of the game Noah took a dribble hand-off, and turned the corner to get to the elbow for a pull-up jumper. Shortly after that on the other end Noah came flying in from the help-side to block a lay-up attempt at the rim. Though listed at 5'9 right now, Noah has a pretty long frame that suggests he still has room to grow. Will be one to track out of Slinger over the coming years.
