The senior standouts at the Nova Hoops Classic exemplified experience and leadership, delivering impressive performances that highlighted their growth and skill on the court. These veterans not only showcased their basketball prowess with efficient scoring, playmaking, and defensive intensity, but also set the tone for their teams with their maturity and ability to step up in crucial moments. Their contributions were instrumental in elevating the level of competition and making the tournament a true showcase for the region's top senior talent.

Given his insanely efficient output, one could argue that [player_tooltip player_id='1963530' first='Marcus' last='Hancock'] could burden an even bigger load for this group. However, he still made a lasting impression. Hancock showcased a polished, all-around game with the size, feel, and creation instincts. He stood out as their main source of offense but appeared comfortable finding chances as an on or off-ball threat. Hancock consistently created for others and scored the ball from all levels. He wreaked havoc defensively to contain his assignment and force turnovers. Hancock rebounded the ball at a high rate and pushed the break effectively in transition. Given his current ability and overall toolkit, it's easy to see his game continuing to blossom. He's a natural glue-guy and an incredibly selfless player who consistently adapts to team needs on both ends of the floor. Lattimore reliably secures rebounds, defends multiple positions, and fills in the gaps as an all-around offensive cog. He's a useful scorer from all levels and finds opportunities within the flow of the action. Lattimore is a capable perimeter shooter and quality finisher through contact. He's an incredible teammate who always seems to step up in key moments. Finish the game with 10 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists.

Given Khaliq efficient output (18 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal) against a solid Bethel Academy team, one could argue that Khaliq could burden an even bigger load for this group if needed. However, he still made a lasting impression. Carson showcased a polished, all-around game with the size, feel, and creation instincts. He stood out as their main source of offense but appeared comfortable finding chances as an on or off-ball threat. Carson consistently created for others and scored the ball from all levels. He wreaked havoc defensively to contain his assignment and force turnovers. Carson showed the willingness to rebound and pushed the break effectively in transition. Given his current ability and overall toolkit, it's easy to see his game continuing to blossom for Bishop Ireton.

It should probably go without saying, but everything starts and ends with [player_tooltip player_id='1782663' first='Devin' last='Toatley']. Between his incredible production and leadership by example, it's difficult to say anything other than positives. At 5-foot-11, Toatley is a tough aggressive scoring guard. He's smart, crafty, quick, and used the dribble to get to any spot on the floor. Toatley is a reliable creator, both for himself and others, and quality decision-maker with the ball in his hands. He's a willing playmaker who sees the floor well yet often needs to apply scoring pressure in order to keep this group at its most competitive. Fortunately, Toatley can do so in several ways. He's a quality perimeter shooter who can knock down jumpers off the catch or bounce. Finish the game against Bishop Ireton with 13 points on 4-9 from the field, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

The lanky shooting guard showed his big-time promise as a 3-point shooter, finished above the rim in transition, and created well for others despite playing off the ball. Chamberlain showed great patience and timing coming off screens, constantly relocated to create better passing angles from his teammates, and had a quick enough release to get his shot off over bigger defenders.

Mason is an exciting lefty flame thrower shooter/scorer played an aggressive nature on or off the ball. Leading the charge for his team. He played with poise, control, and patience, making good reads and attacking the defense when he could. Douglas was able to effectively make plays off the bounce, getting paint touches consistently as well as knocking down shots. But he was also a strong playmaker for others on his team, as the point guard led the way for his team. Finish the game with 10 points, and 6 rebounds.
