PH NorCal was at MLK day at De La Salle High School in Concord, CA. There were there 7 games on the day. Here's a review of the games and players who took home Player of the Game.     Game 1) Bishop O'Dowd 78, Sacramento High 69 Player of the Game: [player_tooltip player_id='2509663' first='Kaiden' last='Gibbs'] 6'4 Unsigned Sr. Forward from Bishop O'Dowd   He's a forward/wing who's been playing good basketball this season. He's using strength, and balance to put points on the board, haul in rebounds. He's getting things done in the paint, he's running the court, defending hard. He gets good lift on the jump hook, and paint jumper. He scored 20pts, collected 5 rebounds.   Game 2) King's Academy 60, Riverside Poly 52   Player of the Game: [player_tooltip player_id='2710103' first='Claxton' last='Ladine'] 6'4 Unsigned Sr. Shooting Guard from King's Academy   He got off to a hot start knocking down 3-3's before half finishing with 4 for the game. He's a 3-point shooter, but has continued to add pieces to his game. Improved ball handling, passing. His rebounding numbers are up. 18pts, 5 rebounds.   Game 3) Moreau Catholic 66, Palma 48   Player of the Game: [player_tooltip player_id='2484296' first='Brendan' last='Williams'] 6'9 2028 Center from Moreau Catholic   He's on an upward path. His activity, and presence on the defensive side shows, while he's continues to strengthen the body, develop his offensive skills, and footwork as a post player. He's a shot blocker, he has presence. 21pts, 7 rebounds.   Game 4) St. Pius From SoCal 68, Central Catholic from Oregon 58   Player of the Game: Kaleb Kearse 5'10 Sr Guard from St. Pius in SoCal   He plays with lots of confidence, using his handles and movement to create his shot attempts. He knocked down long range 3's. He was the events top scorer with 33 points, knocking down 5-3's and a couple of mid-range pull up jumpers.   Game 5) St. Joseph Santa Maria, CA 62, De La Salle 43   Player of the Game: [player_tooltip player_id='1956462' first='Julius' last='Price'], 6'3 Guard Stanford Commit   His ability to put the ball in the basket separates him from others at this level. His ball handling allows him to maneuver his way to the basket, hit paint, and mid-range jumpers which he knocks down with consistency. 16pts   Game 6) Archbishop Riordan 66, San Joaquin Memorial from the Central Valley 45   Player of the Game: [player_tooltip player_id='2853469' first='JP' last='Pihtovs'] 6'8 Forward from Archbishop Riordan   He's NorCal's highest ranked unsigned prospect #4. The #1 big man in our Class of 2026. A long, active prospect around the rim on both ends of the court. He's a dunker, had multiple lobs, put backs and tap ins. He's a rim protector and a rebounder. He just missed on a double, double. 13pts, 9 rebs. He has multiple DI offers.   Game 7) Salesian College Prep 74, Modesto Christian 62   Player of the Game: [player_tooltip player_id='1703096' first='Elias' last='Obenyah'] 6'5 Guard from Salesian College Prep a Stanford Commit   NorCal's top ranked player had his full arsenal on display dropping controlled buckets with balance of all kinds, Mid-range jumper, drive spin moves showing the foot work, and patience to finish for paint points. He used his size and muscle for paint points playing through contact. Just missed on the double, double. 26pts 9rebs
