<p>Now that the Christmas holiday has passed, the spotlight has shifted to the slate of holiday tournaments that've happened all across the state. One of the many holiday tournaments that took place in the state of New Jersey was the JP Flynn Memorial, held at Delbarton School in Morristown, NJ. Over the course of three days late last week, we witnessed a unique crop of New Jersey prospects deliver standout performances. With that being said, let's dive into some notable prospects who turned heads throughout the course of this tournament's action.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">A super bouncy and extremely active forward with unique versatility, [player_tooltip player_id='2628248' first='Terrance' last='Jamison'] leverages his exuberant athleticism paired with a relentless motor that translate to being a difference maker on the defensive end of the floor. Jamison supplied switch ability to get out on the perimeter and defend guards and use his quick hands and anticipation skills to get his hands on passes. High energy and impactful in the rebounding department, Jamison crashes the glass with purpose and authority, reflective of his ability to snatch rebounds out the air. Jamison also impressed offensively, indicative of the growth his offensive skillset has seen over the last calendar year or so— more and more comfortable with attacking off the bounce and making solid live dribble decisions coupled with showing flashes of his spot up shooting ability from the perimeter. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Emerging and flourishing as Benedict's primary ball handler and reliantly tasked with orchestrating their offense, [player_tooltip player_id='3270158' first='Jack' last='Martinez'] impressed with the reads he made as a decisive decision maker— exhibiting a keen understanding of when the offense calls for him to score and when to facilitate. Poised off the bounce and confident against ball pressure paired with his sound court vision, Martinez generated a number of paint touches— creating plays for others that saw him draw two and hit dump offs and spray out to open perimeter shooters while also being a crafty finisher around the basket who can finish with dexterity and good touch. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">An aggressive guard who was in constant attack mode, Gunther Neumann shined in the different ways he was able to generate rim pressure and finish at the basket. Neumann was extremely methodic in his approach— demonstrating the ability to punish closeouts, attacking decisively and finishing with strength and toughness as well as with craftiness and touch in traffic at the rim while also being just as effective an attacker and finisher in transition, converting on such opportunities in the open floor. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Often times tasked with a large role on the ball and responsible for a lot of the offensive production Madison generates, [player_tooltip player_id='1985469' first='Gavin' last='Randall'] excelled as an aggressive downhill attacking threat off the bounce. A strong bodied guard who thrives off two foot finishes and utilizing sound footwork and pump fakes to bait his defender, Randall put an immense amount of pressure on the rim— attacking driving lanes with good change of pace for strong finishes at the basket, manipulating different PnR coverages to convert on tough layups around the basket, and even stringing together strong moments that highlighted his creativity off the bounce and ability to break his defender down off the bounce. Often times seeing intense defensive coverage that features heavy help in the gaps and multiple bodies when he attacked driving angles, Randall leveraged that heavy help defense to create advantageous scoring chances for his teammates. </p>

An exceptional threat off the ball with the optimal floor spacing he provides, Kmetz shined as a perimeter shot maker while also putting together strong moments that highlighted the growing confidence in his game off the bounce, getting to the rim and finding rhythm in his pull up game. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2864800' first='Talon' last='Wehmeyer'] set the tone from jump street by consistently staying in attack mode with a poised and calculated off the bounce approach. Equipped with a polished and tight handle coupled with clean footwork— he got to his spots on both sides of the floor remaining under control playing off two and utilizing up fakes, finishing craftily at the basket. Wehmeyer's aggressive mindset translated in transition also— often times grabbing long rebounds off the rim and pushing coast to coast for finishes on the other end. Reflective off his methodical like approach off the dribble, Wehmeyer also earned numerous trips to the free throw line. </p>
