Iverson Classic: Senior Standouts

The Iverson Classic Blackout Signature Series took place Friday and Saturday at The Villages, delivering 29 games and a weekend packed with high-level competition. Featuring many of the state's top teams and prospects, the event showcased standout performances across multiple classes. Here is a look at the performances from members of the 2026 class.    The Northwestern signee continues to show steady improvement with each evaluation. The 7'3" center finished with 23 points in a win over Mater Lakes, scoring efficiently around the basket. Ghai has soft hands and consistently converts opportunities at the rim, while his footwork has taken noticeable steps forward. He is developing a better feel for carving out space in the lane, rebounds outside of his area, and provides real value as a shot-changer on the defensive end.     Theophile turned in a strong performance in a home win over The Villages, making his impact felt when it mattered most. The 6'5" guard played within the flow early as teammate Donovan Swain carried the scoring load, but down the stretch it was the senior who delivered. He scored timely baskets, consistently got to the free-throw line, and made plays for others in winning time. His poise and versatility helped seal the victory, and the Jaguars look like a team to watch heading into the postseason next week.     Westercamp turned in one of his best performances of the season, scoring 17 points and knocking down five three-pointers in The Rock's win over The New School (AR). The FGCU signee showcased how his skill set translates to the next level, operating as a stretch four with consistent perimeter shot-making. He plays with a good feel for the game, and with continued physical development, he has a chance to contribute early in his career for the Eagles.     The strong, left-handed wing scored 21 points in a win over Fleming Island and continued to show growth as a shot-maker and decision-maker with the ball in his hands. The senior creates matchup problems with his blend of size, strength, athleticism, and skill, and that combination should translate well to the college level.     McCalla scored 21 points in a Saturday afternoon win over Westminster Academy, making his impact felt with energy and efficiency. The senior forward is extremely efficient around the rim, generating many of his points through effort, activity, and being in the right spots. He plays with good strength, moves his feet well, and relentlessly pursues the ball on both ends of the floor.
