On January 1st-3rd I was at many games around the state watching the Hoophall West at Skyline HS and the NIKE Tournament of Champions at multiple locations in the East Valley.

Here were the Top SF's

[player_tooltip player_id='2301235' first='Rhys' last='M. Robinson'] Pinnacle (Pictured)

A versatile wing forward who is building a better foundation with his all-around game. He will score it with threes off the catch, layups with either hand, he will hesitate and get by the defenders and kiss it off the glass and he is really seeing the court way better then a year ago. He rebounds and collects steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470696' first='Tyonne' last='Brown'] Pinnacle

A bigger wing forward is wired to score. He has a good-looking shooting stroke from the three point line off the catch. He can also crossover into a pull-up from mid-range and he gets to the basket with his size to score in traffic. He rebounds well with his length and he is a sneaky good passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2039513' first='DJ' last='Spencer'] Millennium

A physical wing forward with some serious toughness. He will hit tough shots in traffic and almost initiate the contact and bounce off of him to score. He will score with offensive rebound put backs, and-1's inside and hit the catch three with no dip impressively.

[player_tooltip player_id='2297971' first='Hale' last='Hansen'] Brophy Prep

One of the top AIA players in the senior class has been on a tear recently. He had close to 25 in this game and 41 two days later. He plays with ferocity and an elite motor to get on the glass and rebound. He will score with threes, in and out dribbles to get downhill, mid-range jumpers, finger rolls and top notch alley-oops. He will collect steals and block shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194805' first='Marquice' last='Pless'] Higley

A versatile G/W in the freshmen class scores it every way with perimeter jumpers, post ups, coast to coast takes, he changes speeds to get downhill, offensive rebound put backs, floaters and has elite body control in the lane. He truly seems to love the mid-range pull-up. He is also one of the better rebounders in the class and is really long to collect steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='1736170' first='Kareem' last='Alkhalifa'] Pinnacle

A tough wing forward works well from inside and out. He will hit the three and then pull-up from mid-range. He will ball fake to score a bucket inside with advanced post footwork and patience. He rebounds well in his area and will get to the free throw line.

[player_tooltip player_id='2767903' first='Jacobi' last='Thompson II'] Arcadia

A versatile wing forward who is slowly becoming a facilitating point forward type with an unselfish nature. He will score with back door layups, alley-oop dunks, floaters, tear drops, offensive rebound put backs and his first step is impressive to the rim. He collect steals and he scored nearly 20 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552394' first='Andre' last='Tyler'] Higley

An athletic wing forward who plays way above the rim on the break with high level dunks. He can shoot it with off the dribble threes, get to the basket and finish with and-1's in traffic and defend multiple positions. He had a couple incredible blocks in the game I viewed.

[player_tooltip player_id='2574815' first='Garrison' last='Bambolo'] Willow Canyon

A face-up forward can play and defend multiple positions from the 2-4. He will score with drop steps inside and is becoming more patient and will go up. He shows next level body control for contested layups and is rebounding the ball better and being more physical in the trenches.

[player_tooltip player_id='2457665' first='Viktor' last='Babic'] Perry

One of the more versatile bigger wing sophomores in the state. He will scores it every way with threes off the catch or pull, rip thrus to the basket, fade aways off the dribble and get to the rim to score or get fouled. He has good vision and rebounds well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2370259' first='Terry' last='McKinney III'] Millennium

A physical wing forward who rebounds with real toughness inside and can play and defend multiple positions. He will shoot it with threes off the catch, mid-range pull-ups and is very effective and efficient close to the basket or will get fouled and earn it on the line.

On January 1st-3rd I was at many games around the state watching the Hoophall West at Skyline HS and the NIKE Tournament of Champions at multiple locations in the East Valley.
