2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2731864' first='Jacksyn' last='Hogrefe'] (Newell-Fonda) -- 42 points (16-25 FG, 8-13 3P, 2-3 FT), 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block [vs. Harris-Lake Park]

Hogrefe had a fantastic game against Harris-Lake Park, dropping 42 points on 60% shooting, including burying eight 3-pointers. He has always been one of the top scoring threats in 1A, and he showed exactly why that's the case last week in this explosive outing.

2026 SF [player_tooltip player_id='2731685' first='Talan' last='Pletz'] (Janesville) -- 33 points (11-22 FG, 5-9 3P, 6-10 FT), 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals [vs. Tripoli]

The 6-1 wing was unstoppable for the Wildcats against Tripoli, scoring 33 points and showcasing his three-level scoring abilities. He's a long, athletic wing who can impact the game on the defensive end as well, as he showed with his pair of steals.

2026 C [player_tooltip player_id='1884756' first='Tanner' last='Bergmann'] (Wapsie Valley) -- 32 points (16-20 FG, 0-1 FT), 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 1 block [vs. South Winneshiek]

Bergmann is a big, athletic forward who was absolutely dominant against an overmatched South Winneshiek team, scoring 32 points on 80% shooting to go with his double-double. South Winn simply had no size to match up with him, keep him off the glass, or prevent him from scoring around the bucket.

2027 SF [player_tooltip player_id='1977076' first='Landon' last='Blum'] (Woodbine) -- 31 points (11-20 FG, 3-8 3P, 6-6 FT), 11 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block [vs. Glidden-Ralston]

Blum is one of the most talented players in the state's 2027 class, and he showed why that's the case against Glidden-Ralston, scoring from everywhere on the floor, controlling the glass, and impacting the game on the defensive end. His length and athleticism are a major problem for opposing teams.

2026 SF [player_tooltip player_id='2887884' first='Layne' last='Rung'] (Holy Trinity Catholic) -- 31 points (13-20 FG, 4-7 3P, 1-2 FT), 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal [vs. Danville]

Rung was one of the few notable returnees for HTC this season and he has stepped into a starring role for the Crusaders. He showed his ability to stuff the stat sheet and impact the game as both a scorer and playmaker against Danville, dishing out six assists to go with his 31 points.

2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2887863' first='Kayler' last='Morris'] (North Tama) -- 31 points (11-26 FG, 5-13 3P, 4-7 FT), 5 rebounds, 1 steal [vs. AGWSR]

Morris didn't have the most efficient scoring night against AGWSR, taking 26 shots en route to his 31 points. He can score from all three levels on the floor.

2026 SG Bryce Hazelett (Highland) -- 31 points (13-20 FG, 1-6 3P, 4-7 FT), 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals [at Columbus]

Hazelett was great against the Wildcats, scoring 31 points on efficient shooting. He was able to get to the bucket routinely, both in transition and in the halfcourt.

2027 SG Carter Frank (Earlham) -- 14 points (5-9 FG, 1-3 3P, 3-4 FT), 21 rebounds, 3 assists [at ACGC]

Despite being listed at 5-10, Frank was tremendous on the glass against the Chargers, pulling down 21 rebounds and putting up a huge double-double. Pulling down 21 boards as a 6-10 player is impressive enough, let alone a 5-10 player.
