A throwback, back-to-the-basket big man with good footwork, soft hands, and great touch around the rim with either hand, Bergmann was a force on both ends of the floor in the painted area for the Warriors as a junior, averaging 18.7 points and 12.5 rebounds on 60% shooting. He can drop in coverage defensively and bang against bigger bodies in the paint, and he’s capable of holding his own against guards when switched on the perimeter.

Bergmann is a young big man who may just be starting to scratch the surface of his potential as a two-way player. He’s a good athlete with size at 6-8, and his mobility allows him to defend multiple positions, holding his own on switches or contesting shots at the rim. He’s a good rebounder on both ends of the floor and has soft touch around the bucket. He averaged 11.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game as a sophomore for the Warriors, and he should see those numbers skyrocket as a junior with a more experienced team around him.

A young big man that I’m really excited about, Bergmann was solid as a sophomore for the Warriors, putting up 11.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks on 52% shooting. He’s an athletic forward who runs the floor hard, establishes good early position, has an array of post moves, and is great on the glass and as a rim protector. He should have a huge junior year for Wapsie.
