The latest 2026 rankings have been unveiled! With that we look at the best post players that remain on the board uncommitted for colleges heading into the home stretch of the season!

[player_tooltip player_id='2426366' first='Cooper' last='Knowles'] (West Hancock)

Knowles is the best big man available in the state. At 6'9” Knowles plays for a small high school, but the athleticism and upside is real! He is a great rim runner, seals on the interior, can knock in mid-range jumpers, and take it off the bounce from the high-post area. Works well in the pick/roll and is a lob threat. Range stretches out to three. Good rebounder that high points them and is a shot blocking presence.

[player_tooltip player_id='2454169' first='Brad' last='Blackman'] (Crane)

Blackman might be the best pure shot blocker in the state. Long and angular forward that has elite timing blocking shots on the interior along with perimeter. Also gets after it horizontally as well getting steals and being a high level switchable defender. Offensively he is an explosive finisher around the rim on lobs and out of the dunker spot. Rim runner and has some face up shooting potential although he hasn't shown it much this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1845356' first='Jaali' last='Love'] (Waukegan)

Love is a four man that can face up and knock down a shot from distance. He is at his best though playing off his freakish athleticism around the hoop. Offensively he is a dominant offensive rebounder with his quickness to the glass for second chance points. Rim runs, seals, and lobs are all part of his game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1873552' first='Jahadi' last='White Jr'] (East St. Louis)

White hasn't played after an injury suffered in football late in the season. He should be back in the next couple of weeks which will be a big boost to the Flyers. Physical five man who mauls on the interior as a scorer along with throwing opponents around like rag dolls on the glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='2244002' first='Jayden' last='Madden'] (Bolingbrook)

Madden has legit size, length, and athleticism as a five man. He has shown flashes, but still not put it all the way together yet. He is intriguing because at his size he moves very well on both ends. Defensively he can be a rim protector that covers a lot of ground. On the offensive size he is fluid with his movements and finishes around the hoop.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552440' first='Adam' last='Anwar'] (McHenry)

Anwar is a tough and skilled four that can play both facing up and with his back to the basket. As a low post scorer he displays nice footwork and touch. Facing up he can stretch to three. Good area rebounder as well. Productive player!

[player_tooltip player_id='2876529' first='Aris' last='Morgan'] (Rock Island)

Morgan is a bouncy five man that is at his best playing off his athleticism around the rim throwing down out of the dunker spot and getting on the offensive glass. Good rebounder, solid defender, and flashed shot making potential in the fall.
