Who are the top 4A teams?
Bartlett remains as the #1 spot statewide. Their two losses came from out-of-state teams, so the Panthers are still unbeaten between these borders. If you do not know Bartlett's squad yet, then you can peruse their roster here. Though the Panthers are extremely deep the five starters barring injury are

Brentwood won at Nolensville, a high-quality win. Rival Nolensville Knights are a tough team to play and it was a road game, making it even more impressive. Brentwood plays just one game this week against a struggling Centennial squad, so they are very likely to hold in the Top 2.
Bearden's Bulldogs became the first 4A team to hit 20 wins. They are the best east Tennessee team in the 4A classification. Maryville and Walker Valley both believe they are better, but time will tell. Beech conquered two road foes in Mt. Juliet and and Station Camp. Walker Valley won two games too.

Houston owns five losses, but their schedule has been brutal. There are certainly teams with fewer losses in the state. It is tricky to pair them against each other in a ranking system. Houston hangs on in the Top 10 precariously, for now.
Whitehaven won at Memphis Central giving the Warriors their first in-state loss. Whitehaven is the larger team along the frontline. Both teams aspire to play in the State Tournament with Whitehaven possessing more recent inclusion. Head Coach Willie Kemp brought in a ton of guys from around the country to compose this team and intends to battle Bartlett and others in the postseason.
Whitehaven jumping into the Top 10 might be a miscalculation. The reasoning here is that they won at at Top 5 team. Rarely do Top 10 teams play and defeat other Top 10 teams in their gym, but it is noteworthy that Haven owns some sketchy losses. Whitehaven is the only team in the state that might match Bartlett is size and talent.
