2027 Rankings Update: Top Risers in the class

PH NorCal has updated the Class of 2027 Rankings. These prospects made significant jumps because of their play on the court. They've become key, if not top contributors on their respective team.    He's established himself as NorCal's #1 big man in this class, with an opportunity to take his game, and ranking to another level. He's a big body, will get stronger standing 6'9. He has a combination of touch, and power around the rim, for scoring and rebounding. He can drop 3-pointers around the perimeter. He's an improving post defender.     He's establishing himself as a legitimate college prospect. He continues to strengthen his body, and grow his overall skill set. He's using one and two dribbles drives finishing strong at the rim. He's a target on the block using power moves. He's hitting short jumpers, stopping at the top for passes around the perimeter or putting up a 3-pointer. The last game we watch he put up a double, double, hit a couple 3's     The 6'4 guard/wing is doing more on the court. Ball handling and scoring. He's bringing the ball up court, handles pressure, makes the long pass up, and around the perimeter, making good decisions. He's finishing drives with pump fakes, and other ways around the basket. He dropped a couple of 3's from the top and corners. At 6'4 his rebounding numbers are up. He has foot speed, helps rebound     There's no question he has plenty of work to do expanding his overall game. His basketball movements are improving. He's playing with purpose, strong still learning how to use his body. He's rebounding, moving the ball, he's a screener, and ball mover, frees up shooters. He's defending better in the paint, using power going straight up to score inside. He's still polishing his post moves.     He's a solid body scoring guard, combo maybe? from the Sacramento area working a bit under the radar. His handles, and moves, generates buckets on solid drives to the basket. Body control, crossovers, change of direction makes it hard for others to keep him out of the paint. He'll hit the paint jumper, and spot up for 3's. He keeps ball handlers in front, has lateral movement, plays denial.     He's growing and filling his frame, an improving prospect with efficiency on his shot making. He's starting to make good use of his body in the post area getting wide, presenting himself as a target. He initiates contact, and follow through with a bucket. He might use a dribble or two, and a jump hook for points in the paint. He's squaring up on his 3-point shot. His rebounding numbers have gone up.     His newest role is coming off the bench playing power forward, or center. He's a productive player, usually keeps himself in good position for points in the paint, and going after offensive rebounds. Most of his points come in the paint, but he can shoot corner 3's if open. He makes good use of his body rebounding and defending in and around the post area. He's a good passer, and a key contributor on this team.     He's an excellent 3-point shooter, was player of the Game in an early season showcase event knocking down 5/6, 3-pointers. He's a decent ball handler with good passing and cutting off ball. He runs the court. Has lengthy arms defending up top, trapping and taking the passing lanes. He's played against quality competition, battle tested. His best days are ahead.
