These are prospects that, for whatever reason, are making their first appearance in the New England rankings for the Class of 2027.

The top ranked newcomer in this update is CATS Academy's [player_tooltip player_id='2553506' first='Ater' last='Maker Bol Meen'], who checks into the rankings at #11. A long and athletic, 6'9" forward, he impacts the game on both ends of the floor with his fluidity of movement, activity level, and willingness to make the little plays that don't show up in a box score.

Below, we'll take a look at five more Newcomers from this rankings update.

Rolle, a wing out of the Avon Old Farms School in Connecticut, makes his first appearance in the rankings at #103. Rolle is a power wing that plays with physicality on both ends of the floor. He's a fluid mover and plus athlete, both of which allow him to make an impact on the perimeter, as well as in the paint. He does a nice job of attacking closeouts as a straight line driver, finds his scoring within the flow of the offense, and has the ability to make shots out to the perimeter in catch and shoot situations. Defensively, he can guard any spot on the floor and does a nice job of rebounding down in traffic.

Reed, a guard out of Bangor Christian School in Maine, makes his first appearance in the rankings at #142. Reed has been a standout in the early part of the season for Bangor Christian, impressing with his ability to run an offense and feel for the game as a scorer. He has good size on the perimeter, has some wiggle with the ball in his hands, and uses his length to finish over size at the rim. He shows good vision as a passer and the ability to make contested shots in catch and shoot situations. Defensively, he can guard any spot on the perimeter and moves well enough laterally to keep opposing ball-handlers out of the paint.

Holness, a guard out of the Buckingham Browne & Nichols School in Massachusetts, makes his first appearance in the rankings at #152. Holness, an athletic lefty, can really shoot the basketball when he gets his feet set, while also showing the ability to attack long closeouts and finish strong at the rim. He covers ground quickly with long strides and is a fluid athlete in his movements on both ends of the floor. He's a plus two-way rebounder, has the ability to operate as a secondary ball-handler, and can be incredibly disruptive off of the ball defensively, particularly when jumping passing lanes.

Wettlaufer is a newcomer to Worcester Academy that has made great strides with his game since we last saw him in the summer. He's got a big frame at 6'9", looks like he's put on some solid muscle, and is playing with more assertiveness around the rim as a finisher. He does a nice job of rim running in transition, is capable of finishing in a variety of ways with his back to the basket, and has good instincts when coming over from the help side as a shot blocker.

Jeffers, a wing out of Fort Kent Community High School in Maine, makes his first appearance in the rankings at #175. Jeffers, who recently passed the 1,000-point mark for his high school career, is one of the top scorers in the state of Maine. He's got good size on the wing, guards' skills with the ball in his hands, and is able to finish plays above the rim with his athletic pop. He's a three level scorer that has proven capable of making shots both off the bounce and in catch and shoot situations. Defensively, he offers positional versatility and the ability to negate the opposing team's top perimeter option when he's locked in.
