ZG Prep Classic: Saturday Standouts III

He knocked down multiple threes in the game we saw, while also showing some breakdown ability off the bounce. He has terrific positional size, long arms, and plus athleticism that he uses to his advantage as a rim finisher and off-ball defender. Jarrett has nice size in the paint, with long arms and a frame that looks like it'll be able to add weight down the line. He runs the floor well in transition, has the ability to carve out space on the block, and is capable of turning over either shoulder as a finisher. He's an impressive late-clock, isolation scorer that shows the ability to get to his spots off the bounce and then quickly elevate to get his shot off over the defense. Off the ball, he's a high level shot maker from behind the arc, particularly impressing as a movement shooter. This was my first viewing of the future <em>Yale Bulldog</em> and I left impressed by his feel for the game on the offensive end of the floor, as well as his compete level defensively. He's a terrific shooter in catch and shoot situations, but also shows a nice job of scoring in the mid-range and as a creator with the ball in his hands. At 6'3", the <em>Air Force</em> commit has good size for a combo guard and shows a high level understanding of how to create good scoring looks for himself and his teammates. He plays at his own pace, does a nice job of changing speeds as a driver, and continues to knock down threes at a high clip.
