The Zero Gravity Prep Classic, one of the nation's best high school basketball events of the year, just wrapped up in Stoughton, MA, on Sunday, December 7th. Over 80 teams were in attendance from throughout the country (mostly the northeast), and I'll have coverage over the next couple weeks reviewing tons of players.

As always, it's incredibly difficult to watch every team and every game, so I watch as much as I can and have standouts from what I watch. I'm always happy to talk to coaches about guys that I may have overlooked, and I'll almost always try to write about new players who I've never scouted before.

To continue on, let's look at some two-way guards who impressed.

White is pretty electric to watch on the basketball floor. The quickness and burst on both ends just jumps out at you and is quite unique and rare. Defensively, he uses his high IQ, ridiculous speed, and incredible hands to be in every passing lane and be a menace on the ball, and then he's off to the races once he gets steals. Offensively, he can score from all three levels and makes plays for his teammates effortlessly. The sophomore has no weakness (besides his size) and should only get better with more reps at this level.

Wilson Jr. runs the show for St. Luke's and does a really good job setting up his teammates for easy looks. He gets into the lane at will with his quickness and handle, and he has great vision once the defense collapses on him. Defensively, he's a total hound on the ball and gave ball handlers trouble for 94 feet against Brewster Prep. Wilson Jr.'s effort on the defensive end, combined with his quickness and shooting ability on offense, should make him a sought after D3 player.

Dodani looks quite unenjoyable to play against. In a game against Newman's Prep team, the 5-foot-11 guard had more than a handful of steals both on the ball and in the passing lanes. He's incredibly quick and strong, and he's relentless when it comes to putting pressure on the offensive player. Offensively, Dodani took some crazy shots but also managed to make a bunch from the mid range and three. Some more discernment in terms of shot selection would be huge for him, but he's only a sophomore and has a bright future ahead.

Hurd is in a fairly cramped rotation for Nobles, but he's simply too effective as a little-things guy to keep off the floor. For his size—only 6-foot—he's a pretty special rebounder and always finds himself around the ball. He's constantly working his behind off and can attack closeouts and finish with contact offensively. The sophomore will learn a lot from playing in lots of big games this season, and the development of his offensive arsenal will be a great addition to his defensive prowess in the coming years.

In a rough loss to Phillips Andover, Moore looked like one of the lone bright spots for NMH. The 6-foot-2 guard can score from all three levels and uses his quickness, strength and ball handling to get to various spots on the floor. Once he gets to the mid range, he gets good elevation on his shot and is a tough cover as a result. He can also make shots from deep while on the move. Defensively, Moore's strength and length allows him to guard a variety of positions, and he's a relatively alert help-side defender.

White Jr. has special quickness and uses it to his advantage on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he's impossible to stay in front of and can get into the lane for floaters/finishes or dump down passes whenever he wants. Defensively, he uses his speed and lateral quickness to devour offensive players and get cheeky steals whenever possible—he had NINE of them against Phillips Exeter on Saturday. He's the type of guy you love to play with but hate to play against. White Jr. significantly helped himself this past weekend and should see his recruitment spike.

Taylor is undersized at 5-foot-10, but he's a major piece of Albany Academy's breakout start to the season. The junior guard is rock solid offensively and consistently creates easy looks for himself and others in the paint. He can finish with contact, he can make shots in the mid range, and he can knock down a three when needed. Defensively, Taylor is a menace and comes up with tons of steals because of his quick hands and help side IQ. Taylor should see his recruitment rise as a key part of this Albany Academy team.
