The 6-5 lead guard was absolutely dominant against West Branch last Monday night, going off for 30 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists. His size is a major asset, especially at the 1A level, where few players have the combination of size, ball-handling, and shotmaking that he possesses. He has a great feel for the game and is a gifted passer with elite vision. He didn't shoot it particularly well from behind the arc against the Bears, going just 2-8 from 3-point range, but a few of those looks just rimmed in-and-out. He has great form, range well beyond the line, and can shoot it at a high level off both the dribble and the catch. The future Western Illinois guard is perhaps the best all-around player in 1A basketball, and he played like it in this game.

We've come to know what to expect out of Clark, and he didn't disappoint against Pella, despite his Chiefs being overmatched at just about every spot on the floor. His footwork, hands, and touch around the rim are why he's such a coveted low-post prospect, and he can step out and space the floor with deft touch from the 3-point line, although he didn't make any of his 6 3-point attempts against the Dutch. He's a really good free-throw shooter, so overmatched opponents can't even just hack him and put him at the line. He put up 31 points, 16 rebounds (8 offensive), 2 assists, a steal, and a block against Pella.

McGuire has always been a gifted scorer, especially from about 15-feet and in, but where he impressed the most in the Dutch win over Keokuk was with his seemingly extended range, going 3-6 from the 3-point line and looking supremely confident in his shooting stroke. If his added range is for real and he can be a 36-40% 3-point shooter, it will do wonders for him. He looked explosive off the dribble, showing improved ball-handling and shot creation. He had 29 points on 10-16 shooting (3-6 3P, 6-7 FT), 10 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals in the Dutch's 70-46 win.

Schulte was a great 1B to McGuire's 1A against Keokuk, scoring 22 points on 9-19 shooting (3-9 3P, 1-1 FT) with 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 3 blocks. He showed that he can score from all three levels, and do so both off the dribble and the catch. He got to the rim for finishes routinely in the halfcourt and in transition, was a force on the glass, and showed that he can create looks off the bounce for his teammates. What stood out the most against Keokuk, however, was his work on the defensive end. He showed the ability to guard two through five against the Chiefs, getting some opportunities against Clark and holding his own, and he was strong on the perimeter defensively, moving his feet and contesting shots.

Kleinwolterink was huge against West Lyon, scoring 28 points on 13-23 shooting (1-5 3P, 1-1 FT) with 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. An athletic guard who does a great job attacking the rim off the dribble and off of great off-ball movement, he was routinely finishing around the bucket against the athletic Wildcats and did so with good efficiency. He's a skilled ball-handler with good vision, and he's a really strong on-ball defender on the perimeter, with active hands and quick feet.
