Smooth scoring guard, who put on a show on the offensive end in the first half of a big Kingfisher win. Good pace and feel when getting into spots in the mid-range or gliding to the hoop. His height really helps him rise up and hit tough shots. Has been on a tear to start the year, putting up 26 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals and 4 assists in a victory last week. Gets a tough test on Friday with a date against tournament hosts Dale. But Laird as the lightning to burly senior Hays White's thunder gives Kingfisher a chance to make an early season statement.

Known as a scrappy defender and athletic slasher, Fleming showed that he's been working on his jumper. He hit a couple threes during a late in the second quarter run. Which saw the Eagles turn what was a close game into a double digit halftime lead. It was more of the same in the second half. The sensational sophomore would put up 29 points in the win. If Thursday's improved shooting becomes a trend for Fleming, he could become the go to option for Del City. Who currently look to be the best 5A team on the west side of the state.

Humphrey is a multi sport standout. He came alive in the second quarter with an eight straight to end the half. Drained a three, was fouled on another and had a good take to the rim in between those plays. Kept applying pressure throughout, often getting to the line by being strong against an aggressive defense. In the second overtime frame, he broke the deadlock with a triple. Then went to the rim for an old fashion three point that would put North up 6. With one of the Timberwolves' best players out with a heel injury, it was perfect timing for the broad shouldered junior to step up with a career performance. Finished with 26 points.

Athletic and twitchy guard who got off to a quick start and never let up on his way to 30 points in a double OT battle. Speed makes him a transition threat, but also has the quick first step and body control to carve up defenses in the halfcourt. Lived at the rim or the free throw line. While also hitting enough from distance to keep the defense honest. Promising start to a player who is a prime candidate to make a junior year leap, especially with the new coaching staff at Muskogee.
