Has been on a tear to start the year, putting up 26 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals and 4 assists in a victory last week. Gets a tough test on Friday with a date against tournament hosts Dale. He came alive in the second quarter with an eight straight to end the half. Drained a three, was fouled on another and had a good take to the rim in between those plays. Kept applying pressure throughout, often getting to the line by being strong against an aggressive defense. In the second overtime frame, he broke the deadlock with a triple. Then went to the rim for an old fashion three point that would put North up 6. With one of the Timberwolves' best players out with a heel injury, it was perfect timing for the broad shouldered junior to step up with a career performance.
