This article is a continuation of my coverage of the annual Texas Jamboree last weekend. Nelson Brand Sports put together some high-level matchups and athletes took the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of a crowded audience on two courts at CE King HS. Let's examine some players who I got to watch for the first time this season and will continue to be on my prospect list for this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2556705' first='Kayden' last='Gray'] was a top scorer for Dallas Kimball in their Saturday game against BMT Westbrook and made his impact known on both ends. Gray possesses quick speed and decision making with the ball in his hands. His shot making was elite off the dribble pull up and he notched 5-6 assists throughout the game as he demonstrated good playmaking ability in the clutch. Look for Gray to make some noise at Kimball this year!

[player_tooltip player_id='1593256' first='Jaylen' last='Crittendon'] was the driving force behind the exquisite team chemistry displayed by Converse Judson in their win over Katy Jordan on Saturday evening. Crittendon is a maestro off the pick and roll and made sure to reward his teammates for great off ball movement and used sound offensive IQ to demonstrate ball control and awareness. I was impressed with Jaylen's dual threat scoring and playmaking ability this contest and will continue to monitor him this season on a well-coached team.

Andre Rubin was one of the best guards for FB Marshall in their loss to Lancaster on Saturday evening. Rubin displayed good shot taking decision and made the defense pay whenever they left him open. I have had my eye on Andre since this summer with the [program_tooltip program_id='2075520' first='Houston' last='Raptors'] and he continues to impress when given the chance as one of the more slept on 2028 guards in Greater Houston. Rubin is good in the midrange and under the basket, as well as having underrated perimeter defense.

I watched Sean in two games this weekend where he had 25 points or over against Shadow Creek HS and Bush HS. Parks has lightning quick speed when he runs in transition, and he capitalizes on open looks from deep and mid-range when the defense fails to close out. He battles for loose balls, has intense defensive prowess, and is a good vocal team leader. He is the driving force behind this Ellison team and his fight in close contests definitely showcase this.

Tolbert was a key focus of the offense for the Eagles this weekend as he was one of the primary on-ball guards in both games. Jacob shows good off ball movement and knows how to get himself open with screens and dribble moves and is a good hustle player who is a go-getter on both ends of the floor. Tolbert is a good energy source for Ellison, and I was impressed with his court awareness in these two key matchups.
