About Sean
Expert Analysis
Mark A McKnight | Prep Hoops Scout
Parks continues the long lineage of tough, intelligent, and fearless lead guards to come out of the Killeen area. Listed at 5’11 but playing much bigger, he controlled every beat of the game with poise and command. Parks is a three-level scorer whose improved long-range jumper now forces defenses to stretch beyond comfort, and once that happens, his downhill acceleration becomes a problem that’s difficult to solve. In transition, he pushes pace with purpose; in the half-court, he sees the second and third layer of the defense like a veteran. Defensively, he applies relentless pressure, dictating matchups and forcing turnovers with anticipation. His leadership huddling teammates during tight moments and stabilizing possessions was a major reason Ellison closed out SOC for the win. Parks projects as an immediate contributor at the next level and is poised to help Ellison make yet another deep playoff run.

I watched Sean in two games this weekend where he had 25 points or over against Shadow Creek HS and Bush HS. Parks has lightning quick speed when he runs in transition, and he capitalizes on open looks from deep and mid-range when the defense fails to close out. He battles for loose balls, has intense defensive prowess, and is a good vocal team leader. He is the driving force behind this Ellison team and his fight in close contests definitely showcase this.

delivered an exceptional offensive performance against Bush High School, emerging as the leading scorer for Killeen Ellison High School. His well-rounded offensive output propelled his team to a victory. Whenever I watch Sean play, I eagerly anticipate witnessing his renowned defensive impact. His consistent hustle and determination to go after the ball, whether it’s a rebound or a loose ball on the ground, he sets himself apart. Sean’s heart and relentless activity defensively are what make him stand out, and it’s no surprise that he’s already signed to Saint Mary’s University in San Antonio!

Parks is a high-motor lead guard with advanced physicality for his size. He plays with purpose—his handle is tight, his first step is explosive, and he has a deep finishing package that includes floaters, pull-ups, and strong takes through contact. He’s also a tenacious on-ball defender, consistently fighting through screens and pressuring ball handlers without fouling. What impressed most was his command of the game from tip-off to final buzzer. His leadership on the court helped lead his team(WC Warriors-Killeen) to an undefeated weekend and the tournament championship.

‘ last=”] guard for Killeen Ellison High School that can heat up quickly scoring the ball. He is very quick handling the ball which he uses to create scoring opportunities. Offensively he gets downhill to the paint and gets to the spots on the floor where he is most comfortable making jumpers in the mid-range area especially.

was an electrifying player, playing with the heart of a giant as a relentless scorer and fearless competitor. His unique blend of quickness, three-point shooting, and finishing ability made him an unstoppable force throughout the game. Parks showed elite finishing ability, using his strength and core control to absorb contact and still score. His high, compact release on three-pointers allowed him to get shots off quickly and efficiently, even under pressure. No matter how aggressive defenders closed out, Parks remained unfazed, knocking down multiple deep shots with ease.
