Texas Future Circuit: December Face Off Prep Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Texas Future Circuit put on a great showcase last weekend, inviting several prep schools from all over Texas to put their talents on display in Katy. The TFC, run by Alex Holt, who is making a name for himself in Houston with these events, has quietly been one of the better tournaments that I have been able to attend multiple times over the past year, and this weekend had me on watch for new names and new prospects making their mark. He finished the game with 27 points and Heard was money from three-point range and showcased his ability to attack the basket as well. He never hesitated to let it fly from deep when the defense left him space and he also showed signs of next level playmaking with the ball in his hands on the perimeter. He focuses on creating opportunities for teammates first foremost and his passing game was on full display as Legion displayed great ball movement in this game and captured a big-time win coming into Houston. Evans has a great skillset that allows him to be a balanced scorer from all three levels, get to the foul line at a good rate, and shoot efficiently from the field. Auriantal showcased good physicality and fundamentals in the paint on both sides of the ball, and he was a critical part of getting key defensive stops at certain instances in the game.
