Tyson Heard Tyson Heard 5'9" | CG Otto Middle School | 2029 TX out of On1 Prep Academy put together a great four game stretch at the Texas Future Circuit. Offensively he orchestrated the basketball to his teammates well in different situations, hit open perimeter off the catch, convert pull up jumpers and got in transition often leading to fast break points. Defensively he gets into passing lanes and is solid on the ball. The UT Dallas Commit was easily one of the best guards throughout the whole weekend.

Now at On1 Prep Academy, Tyson was the main reason his team took home a win over On Point Academy in the early afternoon. He finished the game with 27 points and Heard was money from three-point range and showcased his ability to attack the basket as well. The UT Dallas commit is one of the more impressive and complete players I have watched all year, and he will look to be one of the most vocal and all-around leaders for On1 Prep Academy this year.

High-motor competitor whose relentlessness in his pursuit of the ball instantly jumps out. He showed a good feel for the game as a whole, consistently making high-level floor reads in transition, forcing the defense to commit and collapse before tossing out dimes no matter where the open man was, on the perimeter, cutting baseline, or filling the lane. Heard plays with purpose, pressure, and poise, always dictating pace through his ability to read defensive rotations on the fly.

Tyson Heard Tyson Heard 5'9" | CG Otto Middle School | 2029 TX out of TACA Storm is a guard that likes to get to his spots with the ball in his hands where he capitalizes in getting on streaks. Throughout his game against New Wave Academy, he hit plenty of open spot up perimeter shots off the catch and dribble creating these opportunities in different offensive situations. I liked his effort showing he was willing to do the little things to impact the game. At times Tyson got into the paint for offensive rebounds keeping possessions alive for TACA Storm. The University of Texas at Dallas commit is a high-level prospect at the guard position.
