LAS VEGAS — We made the trip out to Las Vegas for the last two days of the Tarkanian Classic and took in Platinum and Nike Division action at The Orleans Arena and Bishop Gorman high school. Below are the most versatile players we watched.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956520' first='Brayden' last='Kyman'] | 2026 | Santa Margarita

There are few players at Kyman's size who can impact the game in dribble, pass, shoot and post-up situations the way he does. The 6-foot-8 forward initiates offense on rebounds and pushes, back to the basket touches, rolling out of ball screens and as a ball reversal guy at the top of the key. He can do a little bit of everything from a scoring standpoint, as well, with his face-up touch and mid and low post feel. Kyman scored 11 points, grabbed nine rebounds and handed out three assists in the Eagles' semifinal loss to Timpview.

Chase Robertson | 2026 | Desert Pines (NV)

The former Northern California prospect has seen his game evolve since arriving in Nevada as he has taken the reins of the Desert Pines offense as the primary ball handler and decision-maker. The 6-foot-5 swingman looked comfortable attacking the rim out of ball screens and made plays for himself and teammates out of those paint touches. Robertson used his length and fluidity to elevate and finish at the rim and kicked to open shooters with timely precision. He finished with 11 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in a double overtime loss to Lone Peak.

[player_tooltip player_id='2436266' first='Chris' last='Sanders'] | 2027 | Redondo Union

Sanders is the definition of versatility as he plays and defends just about every position for Redondo. The 6-foot-4 lefty is a physical and athletic anomaly as he also boasts a solid 190-plus pound frame but maintains a combination of fluidity, explosiveness and shiftiness off the dribble. Sanders is best when attacking downhill in transition and is a capable passer and playmaker in addition to his physical interior finishing ability. Sanders scored 16 points, grabbed nine rebounds and had three assists in the win over Notre Dame.

[player_tooltip player_id='1724365' first='Crew' last='Fotheringham'] | 2027 | Lone Peak (UT)

Fotheringham was in some foul trouble and didn't have his most efficient shooting game of the event but he just found a way to make things happen that contributed to winning. The 6-foot-7 wing is a floor stretching threat to the three-point line off the catch but, when his jumper wasn't falling the way he wanted it to, he found a way to put points on the board by getting to the free throw line on strong drives to the rim. Fotheringham finished with 21 points and six rebounds to help Lone Peak reach the championship game of the Nike Division.

Munir Grieg | 2027 | Coronado (NV)

Each time we've watched Grieg play over the last few months he has consistently gotten 10-plus free throw attempts in each game. The long, wiry and athletic 6-foot-6 wing is a fluid ball handler who can break down defenders off the dribble and get into the lane where he gets into the body of defenders and either finishes or draws contact to get to the free throw line. The Nevada-based junior, by way of Philadelphia, scored 15 points, pulled down five rebounds and hit 7 of 10 from the free throw line.

[player_tooltip player_id='2306605' first='Simeon' last='Suguturaga'] | 2026 | Orem (UT)

Suguturaga fits the bill as a hybrid four-man at the next level where he is on track to play at the University of Utah. The 6-foot-5 wing is a multi-positional defender with great lateral speed, defensive instincts and competes on the glass on both ends of the floor. Offensively, the senior can face up on the perimeter, drive by defenders to either hand and finish at the rim. He's also a heady passer and playmaker in those situations. Suguturaga finished with a 12-point, 10-rebound double-double.
