The season is already entering near the halfway mark and there have been many sleepers in the state stepping up and playing well for their team. Here are some players in the state who I think should be looked at more.

[player_tooltip player_id='2548214' first='Noah' last='Owens'] - 2028 - Everett

Noah is a quick guard who does an excellent job at changing his pace and forcing the other team to play at his pace. He has been a great leader for Everett this season, displaying his court vision to find open teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='2746545' first='Boston' last='Hess'] - 2028 - Ferris

Boston has a smooth jump shot, being able to sink it from deep with ease and confidence. He has great handles and can find open teammates well, keeping his eyes up at all times and breaking down defenders well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2887289' first='Kingston' last='Collins'] - 2028 - Mount Vernon

Kingston is a big body down low who does a great job at sealing defenders to get himself open in the paint. He protects the paint well on the defensive side, blocking shots often and making big momentum changing plays. He is starting to get an outside shot, sinking some threes if left open.

[player_tooltip player_id='2963463' first='Abdullah' last='Sarr'] - 2028 - Renton

Abdullah is an electric defender, being able to guard opponents well and stay in front with his quick feet. Sarr uses his length and quickness to his advantage, excelling in the transition game and leaking often for easy buckets for his squad.

[player_tooltip player_id='2485546' first='Alejandro' last='Colunga'] - 2028 - Eisenhower

Alejandro is a pure point guard who does whatever it takes for his team to get the win. He is a complete player, scoring from all 3 levels and being able to control his pace well. He has great court vision and fights for rebounds better than most guards.

[player_tooltip player_id='2552480' first='James' last='Mataia'] - 2028 - West Valley

James attacks well downhill, using his quick first step and speed to his advantage. He finishes through contact at the rim nicely, adjusting mid-air to get the finish. Mataia plays with great composure and patience too, being able to keep his calm at all times and make the right play.

[player_tooltip player_id='2835724' first='Kyler' last='Skogstad'] - 2028 - Bellevue Christian

Kyler is a great scorer on the court, being able to get buckets at all three levels and impact the game greatly. He shoots it lights out, always letting it fly with confidence. He's a player to watch for the years to come.

[player_tooltip player_id='2384352' first='Oliver' last='Pepper'] - 2027 - Selah

Oliver is a player who has been growing his game in a big way over the last year or so. He's becoming more well rounded on the offensive side, getting his shot off smoother and also being more physical when attacking the ball and finishing around the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2182812' first='Dyson' last='Edwards'] - 2027 - Lummi Nation

Dyson is a lengthy guard who uses his long arms on the defensive side to get deflections and create turnovers for his squad. Edwards has a great shot from deep, sinking the long ball with ease and being able to get his shot off quickly. He is a big part of this Blackhawks team going for back to back state titles.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140824' first='Jayce' last='Choi'] - 2027 - Capital
