His exceptional ball-handling skills allowed him to push the pace while maintaining control, showcasing his composure under pressure. In transition, he excelled by creating scoring opportunities both for himself and his teammates with sharp decision-making. His dynamic performance solidified his reputation as a versatile and impactful player on the court.

A guard who shoots the ball at a high clip from outside and already has a year of running the point for Ferris under his belt. Has some shiftiness to his game, can exploit gaps, and get inside. He’s a kid who can set the pace, read PNRs well, and is crafty by the rim.

Hess is a lefty guard with a good motor who’s already having a big impact at Ferris. He has good awareness on both ends, showing he can press ballhandlers and capitalize on their mistakes, he sees the floor well in transition and looks to get the ball up quickly, and works well in the half-court in two-man actions. He showed how impactful he can be behind the arc at the Pro Insight Pop-Up right before the season, and is a guard who shows a good understanding of the game at a young age.
