Sandburg's Charity Shootout had many exciting games and great performances throughout the entire day. It was a great event for a great cause. Here are some players that caught my attention at the shootout.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532350' first='RJ' last='Lewis'] (2027) | 5'10 G | Hinsdale Central High School

Lewis displayed great guard skills in his game Saturday. He attacks the rim well, consistently getting downhill and getting paint touches. Lewis displayed nice touch on his floaters, hitting them at a high rate. He has a quick handle with a nice crossover that allows him to create space from his defenders. Lewis displayed good recognition of where the defense would be, finding open teammates off it.

[player_tooltip player_id='2734444' first='Marc' last='Harvey'] (2026) | 6'4 G | Oak Lawn High School

Harvey is a big guard that makes his presence felt when he is on the floor. He is great at attacking the rim, using his size to finish over defenders. I really liked Harvey defensively where he was able to make plays on and off the ball. He was constantly in lanes getting deflections and steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='2433457' first='Jack' last='Dempsey'] (2026) | 6'3 G/F | Oak Lawn High School

Dempsey finished the game with 14 points, displaying his ability to score at all three levels. He has a smooth lefty shot and deep range opening up the floor for himself and his teammates. A great mid range pull up with a high release allows him to get off shots efficiently. Dempsey has nice touch around the rim especially with his left.

[player_tooltip player_id='2467723' first='Mohammad' last='Farhan'] (2027) | 6'5 F/C | Stagg High School

Farhan was super impressive on Saturday, finishing with 20 points. He is strong with the ball in his hands and works great in the post. Farhan is great at the rim, finishing through contact. You cannot foul him either because he is super efficient from the line. He is an excellent rebounder on both ends of the floor, earning extra possessions for his team. Farhan's effort and willingness to play hard throughout the entire game really stuck out.

[player_tooltip player_id='2830240' first='Daniel' last='Morakinyo'] (2027) | G | Sandburg High School

Morakinyo can score the ball at all three levels. He finishes at the rim, can get to his spots in the mid range and can knock down shots from deep. He finished with 10 points in his game. Morakinyo was super impressive on the defensive end, with his constant on ball pressure and ability to pick up full court. He was a pest defensively, making it difficult for the opposing team to get into their offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2437108' first='Omar' last='Ajanovic'] (2027) | 6'7 F | St. Patrick High School

Ajanovic is a tall forward with a good handle. He has a smooth jumpshot which allows him to stretch the floor. Ajanovic can attack the rim off the dribble and finish at the rim with crafty finishes and euro steps. In the post, he makes himself available with good seals and is strong with the ball. Ajanovic uses his size to be a threat as a rebounder on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125648' first='Jimmy' last='Czeslawski'] (2027) | 6'1 G | St. Patrick High School

Czeslawski showcased his ability as a scorer Saturday with 15 points. With a consistent and repeatable jumpshot Czeslawski can catch fire fast, knocking down threes from way beyond the arc. He can score when needed but also showcased his ability as a passer, with great vision. Czeslawski has a quick handle allowing him to get past defenders and get open from three. He brought an intensity to the game that was contagious throughout his team.

Ryan Crane (2026) | 6'6 G/F | Lemont High School

Crane had 17 first half points including 5 threes. He has great positional size and can score at all three levels at a high clip. The 2026 G/F can get to his spots effectively and knock down shots with a pure jumper. Crane has great patience with the ball, waiting for defenders to jump or fly by him. He ended the game with an efficient 21 points.
