"This offseason, I played with Dynasty and Julius and I also had Noah and Daniel on my team as well, and Homer and we really just started working together a lot off the court, and on the court, just building a lot of team chemistry," Vizconde said. "Individually, everyday I was trying to put up shots and lifting the gym to get stronger and faster."

Vizconde has played several roles since becoming a starter three years ago. As a freshman, he specialized in spotting up for three and ended up leading the state in three-point field goal percentage. These past two years, he's gotten an opportunity to do more with the basketball and now his last season he's being called upon to be a leader. All this while on track to surpass 1000 career points, which would make him only the second individual in school history to do so.

The hope is that college programs will be watching - and so far he's been hearing from a few. "Right now, I've been talking to some coaches," Vizconde said. "I'm really interested right now in Pacific University, not just because of their basketball, but also the academics. I've also been talking a little bit with Linfield."

A high-academic performer with aspirations of entering the medical field after his undergrad days, Vizconde also broke down what he's looking for in the basketball program. "I'm really looking forward to the community," Vizconde said. "Especially with Pacific, one of the coaches was telling me a lot about it and I really want that."

As his recruitment sorts out, Vizconde is locked in on his senior year - and there's no question he wants to go out with a bang. "This year we're really trying to win Metro, for sure," Vizconde said. "That's probably our biggest goal, obviously."
