The Noble Classic Session IV on Friday night set the stage for an exciting two-day event filled with intense competition. Teams showcased their best skills as they tiptoed into the games, eager to make a mark. In this article, I'll be highlighting six players who stood out in the [player_tooltip player_id='2382174' first='Brennan' last=''] vs Little Rock Central and Melissa vs Vashon games that took place early Friday afternoon.

[player_tooltip player_id='1593892' first='Donovan' last='Criss'], a consistent three-level scoring threat for SA [player_tooltip player_id='2382174' first='Brennan' last=''] High School, showcased his prowess throughout the game against Little Rock Central High School. Defensively, he was a blur in transition, quickly sprinting his lanes to outrun opposing players and create high-percentage play finishes. As a spot-up shooter, he demonstrated accuracy, consistently knocking down multiple shots. In the half-court, he adeptly used his ball-handling skills to create scoring opportunities in the paint. On the floor, Donovan contributed significantly with his rebounding, crashing the glass on both ends. Without a doubt, Donovan was one of the standout performers against Little Rock Central High School!

[player_tooltip player_id='2939641' first='Isaiah' last='Ward'] was a key contributor to SA [player_tooltip player_id='2382174' first='Brennan' last=''] High School's success in the game against Little Rock Central High School. Throughout the game, he displayed remarkable aggression by crashing the glass with force during many possessions. Isaiah's ability to operate effectively without the ball within the offensive flow is evident. He skillfully catches the ball within close range, allowing him to shoot short jumpers and create driving opportunities to the basket. Isaiah's exceptional passing skills are showcased in the half-court flow. He adeptly finds open teammates and exploits defensive stops with outlet passes, initiating transition lanes for his team. As a screener, Isaiah demonstrates versatility by spreading the floor with his rolling and popping out to the perimeter. He also handles the ball effectively up the court, initiating the offense at times. Additionally, Isaiah's footwork in the post maneuvered opposing defenders, providing him with easy looks at the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126446' first='Mustafa' last='Mohamed'] out of Melissa High School was a key player against Vashon High School. His rim protection skills, including the ability to alter shots at the rim and block multiple shots, make him a strong front court player. He also provides easy looks in the paint simply by being a presence for his teammates to dump the ball to him in the post or in the interior after ball handlers drive the lane to find him open. Additionally, his height advantage over Vashon High School allowed him to stretch the floor with his 3-point shot with clear open looks as well. Mustafa should definitely get more eyes on him soon!

Jimmy McKinney III truly distinguished himself in the game against Melissa High School, emerging as the primary scorer for Vashon High School.
