Up at Archbishop Wood on Saturday, the annual event featured several Delaware prospects, some who go to school in-state and others who play in PA. Nevertheless, these five represented the First State well:

[player_tooltip player_id='2422871' first='Da'Shaun' last='Holden'] | 5'7 G 2028 Bonner-Prendie

When the Friars took down Penncrest, Holden ran circles around the defense off the dribble. Whether he was attacking from a stand-still or on-the-go with an advantage, the sophomore point guard managed to slip through slight windows and into the lane. Even in the open floor, Holden swerved around defenders before dishing to someone else or scoring on his own. He cashed a three and caused some havoc on defense as well to finish 14 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, and even a block.

[player_tooltip player_id='2352449' first='Alassan' last='N'Diaye'] | 6'5 F 2026 Neumann-Goretti

N'Diaye is set to play at East Stroudsburg next season, but in the meantime, he got active versus St. Georges. N'Diaye rumbled on the boards, using his strength to end possessions on defense and extend them on offense. And his team rewarded his hustle by letting him feast in transition. He did the same after coming up with some turnovers of his own. By the end of the game, N'Diaye led both sides with 20 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block.

[player_tooltip player_id='2352452' first='Josh' last='Obiora'] | 6'7 W/F 2026 St. Georges

After a slow start, Obiora successfully applied his athleticism on both ends of the court against Neumann-Goretti. He helped slow the Saints down with his effort on the glass and at the rim on defense. And his putback dunks and pull-up twos gave the Hawks some energy while allowing them to set their defense. He finished with a double-double – 18 points, 13 rebounds, 1 steal, and 3 blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2352451' first='Latrell' last='Wright'] | 5'10 G 2026 Salesianum

In the opening game against Penn Charter, Wright's catch-and-shoot three in the first quarter was just a warm-up. He sprinted into, stepped back, and relocated for six more. His smooth release allowed him to get his shot off without much space or time necessary. Wright also forced some turnovers on-ball and distributed on fastbreaks. And when that wasn't enough, he iced the game at the charity stripe. In total, he notched 30 points (7-8 FT), 3 assists, and 3 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='1608258' first='DeShawn' last='Yates'] | 5'9 G 2026 Neumann-Goretti

Coming on the heels of his commitment to Cal I (PA), Yates demonstrated why he was so sought after when the Saints played St. Georges. It started on defense where repeatedly swiped the ball from Hawks guards to initiate fastbreaks that led him to the rim or the free throw line, and did the same on defensive rebounds. Likewise, Yates used those opportunities to create shots for his teammates. He steadily put together a well-rounded performance with 13 points, 3 boards, 6 assists, and 2 steals.
