12/30/25: Tuesday night Kade broke out a pirouette midway through the first quarter, showing his elegance en route to a layup. Though he was the tallest player on the court, Kade displayed a little handle. He projects as a possible small college wing forward. Owned the offensive glass. He did miss consecutive free throws in the third quarter.

12/30/25: Scrappy. Jack wrestled a rebound away from a defender late in the first quarter as Richland led 13-9. Missed both free throws seconds later. Jackson saved Richland in a precarious situation by cutting sharply to the rim backdoor. Without Jackson's basket just under 2 minutes from the end the hosts might have completely coughed up a 20-point lead. They did get to just 6 points up at their lowest point of the second half.

12/30/25: Facing a decent zone Will Shirey operated the point, a bit. He leaned on the pass more than the drive and it progressed ok. Shirey preferred to change the point of attack from shipping the orange around the arc swiftly.

12/31/25: From the opening tip, which he won, [player_tooltip player_id='2350372' first='Brady' last='Harris'] stamped his name on the basketball game Wednesday afternoon at Happy Valley's gym. Harris played the side of the Gap's 2-3 zone defense. He probably prefers defending in man, but the team runs the 2-3 and he rebounded quite well out of it. Brady's worst stat of the first quarter was a two in the turnover column. One was a suspicious travel call, but the other was a clean steal by East Ridge. Harris drew his first foul with 4:44 left in the 1Q as he posted up and East Ridge sent help underneath to double the feed. Cumberland Gap ran a clever inbounds pass to feed Harris on the post immediately thereafter, he caught it high and swiveled to finish under pressure. Two plays later Cumberland Gap fed Harris with a lob over the fronting defender and the result was the same.

12/31/25: Goins was a little loose with the handle. He did bury the game's first shot, a wing three-pointer. Goins did not turn the ball over and generally help run the offense from the wing. Cumberland Gap played five-out mostly to allow [player_tooltip player_id='2350372' first='Brady' last='Harris'] space to drive or post up. Goins is a raw forward at this point. Some shooting touch.

12/31/25: Kind big man. Sullvan East had the 6'10" center [player_tooltip player_id='3281293' first='Logan' last='Shuttle'] help handle full court pressure by catching the in-bound pass and distributing over the trapping guards. Shuttle must stick to the paint defensively. It is where he is most comfortable.

12/31/25: This was name [player_tooltip player_id='3281320' first='Eli' last='Hubbard']'s game. He missed a frustrating amount of first half time with foul trouble and never really found his focus when he returned in the second half, tracking back defensively much too slowly as Sullivan East endured a blowout loss. Hubbard entered the game averaging about 17 ppg and 12 rpg, so he can play. This was just not his day. Soft touch around the rim. Hubbard's footwork in the lane really stood out late in the third quarter. He made defenders search for positioning that made any kind of sense.

12/31/25: A complete masterclass from Aidan. The senior guard rebounded, defended, scored, and attacked all at the highest level of the event. Haile's first step was a nightmare for the Sullivan East defenders. They failed to keep him away from his destination throughout.
