<p>Thanksgiving week I attended four tournaments for exactly 25 games and 48 different teams. The events I watched were <strong>Phoenix Union Coyote Classic</strong> at Central and Deer Valley for 2 days, <strong>Fear The Hop Tournament</strong> at Mesa HS, <strong>Ben Franklin Thanksgiving Classic </strong>at Ben Franklin and Gilbert Christian and lastly the <strong>LV8 Invitational</strong> at Chandler-Gilbert CC. </p>

<p>A big kid is a top notch rebounder. He controlled the glass with his size, girth and long arms. He is a quick second jumper to score with tip ins. He has a polished hook shot and uses a drop step. He is getting a little more lighter on his toes and more fluid as he ages. He also has a nice FT stroke. He scored 20 points and 10+ rebounds. </p>

<p>A power forward who will score it inside and defend. He gets great positon to rebound and will control the glass. He will go up immediately after he rebounds and scores with put backs plus will block a shot or two in the paint. He scored 10+ points and grabbed many crucial boards. </p>

<p>A thicker framed point forward type with advanced court vision for position. He is a very good rebounder in and out of his area with his strong frame and toughness. He will score it getting to the basket using his handle and strength plus hit the three in the corner. </p>

<p>A bigger power forward who seems to grow yearly. He has very soft hands to score inside plus rebound. He takes contact well inside and has advanced post footwork and will score with drop steps and hook shots. He scored 12 points. </p>

<p>A power forward who is an inside and out threat. He will catch tough passes in the lane and go up quickly to score and then step out and hit the three off the catch. He scored close to ten points and will grab rebounds in and out of his area. </p>

<p>A young looking, athletic wing who is skilled and cerebral. He can score it with spins off of his defenders, he has plus post footwork and he moves gracefully from end to end. He can shoot it from the perimeter and works well inside. He will also throw it down on the break. He scored 10+ points. </p>

<p>A legit sized post player is still clearly growing. He is long and lean and moves well swiftly up the court for a big. He will score with offensive rebound put backs and the lefty can shoot it from mid-range. He is a sneaky good passer and uses his size and length to rebound and block or alter shots. He scored 8 points. </p>

<p>A growing post player who is a top-end rebounder in his area and a rim protector. He will score with dunks, hook shots with his dominant left hand, rip thrus and he scored 10 points including a tip-in at the buzzer for a big team win. He is also a very underrated passer. </p>

<p>A good sized wing forward who plays like a 3 and D type. He will hit the three off the catch with a pretty looking stroke and he will block shots in and out of his area. He rebounds well in his area and will score it off the glass or get fouled and has an easy stroke from the stripe. </p>
