Started the game with fireworks including a corner 3 and an alley-oop off the glass. Then helped close it out with two big defensive plays. Had two high flying, rim protecting blocks in the span of about 60 seconds. Then put the cherry on top of the win with a breakaway slam in the final minute. Impressive display of athleticism on both ends of the court from a player who is just scratching at the surface of his high potential. Hopefully a sign that in a few months he'll be a more consistent rim protector and rebounder.

A high flying player, who has been among the most improved players in Oklahoma this calendar year. Fits like a glove for the new style at Santa Fe. Routinely got up and applied full court ball pressure. Made life very difficult for opposing guards. Including one instance where he ripped the opposition and then slammed it home, sparking a big Santa Fe run.

Baba's defensive effort and overall athleticism is a major spark to the swagger and tempo the Wolves play with. Gets on the offensive glass as well as being a dynamic slasher. With his athletic ability being fully unlocked this year, he should be a top priority for developmental minded regional D2 and NAIA programs. Or JuCos that he could use as a platform to continue to elevate his game.

There hasn't been a player at the Edmond Open that has shot it better than Lashley. Had a stretch to end the third and start the fourth where he kept hitting from deep. He almost single handedly broke a close contest wide open. Simply do not leave him open. Ended up hitting six three pointers. And if tightly covered, watch for a nifty backcut. He knows how to set up over playing defenders and then score two easy points. Scored 26 points on Thursday, and had 28 on Friday.

Another key part of the Knights' bounce back win. Applied consistent rim pressure. Had acrobatic scores at the cup and good passes to set up his teammates. Played with his usual high motor playing style by being an outstanding rebounder for a guard. Have seen that rebounding translate at the national level. Because he's athletic, strong and has good timing to go with his desire to rebound. Most of his damage was done on drives to the rim. But did close out the first quarter with a good pull up three. Tough minded guard, who is continuing to fill out his offensive skillset.

Has been a bright spot in back to back days for a 4A Rocket team that's being tested against 6A competition. His energy stands out. Long armed guard who plays a bit bigger than his height because of that trait. Can use those long arms and his work rate to force steals, then race for points too.

Offensively, is doing a good job as an off the ball scorer. Shot it well from three both days. And then can attack close outs by playing fast while staying in control. Stops with two feet in the paint, with the patience to let over aggressive players blow right by. Good finishing variety because of his long arms and solid fluidity.
