Some may say it's hard to call a top 4 player in the class a stock booster but Mitchell has started his Sophomore season answering a lot of the questions folks had about him and his game. Showing that he can be an effective playmaker and not just a scorer, Jordan has led Male to a King of the Bluegrass title and earned MVP honors in the event too. When we update 2028 rankings next month, he'll have to move up.

Marshall is known as an elite shooter but he continues to put up big shooting numbers with defenses knowing they have to stop him from getting his shots up. Averaging 25 points per game and shooting 42% from three, Caleb is making nearly 5 threes per game. There is something to be said for being a star in your role. Look for Marshall to be in the mix with best shooters in the region when AAU season rolls around.

A breakout star in the 5th region so far this season, Poynter is averaging 22 points and 11 rebounds per game for Coach Brewer's Tigers. A big time slasher who excels at getting to the rim, Chi has had some huge scoring games this season already and looks like he's got potential to be the best Sophomore in the 5th.

South Laurel has to replace a lot of production and Taylor has stepped up to become their best scoring guard at this early point in the season. Previously known as a shooter, Kaden isn't shooting the ball great thus far but once his shots start falling like normal, he could be averaging 18+ PPG this year.
