Jewett—Tri-Valley's dynamic junior guard—is the centerpiece of the roster. [player_tooltip player_id='2277844' first='Brady' last='Jewett'] (6'2" – G – JR) Jewett enters the season as Tri-Valley's leading returning scorer and one of the most dynamic offensive threats on the roster. A true combo guard, he can hurt defenses at all three levels and gives the Mustangs a reliable bucket-getter in crunch time. As he steps into a larger leadership role, expect Brady to be the engine that keeps the Mustang offense humming. Mason Hemme (5'10" – G – SR) Hemme is a quick, steady guard capable of dictating pace and keeping the Mustangs in control of the tempo. As a senior, he has the chance to take on a much greater role on both ends, using his speed and decision-making to stabilize the offense and pressure opposing ball-handlers. Mason's growth could be one of the quiet keys to Tri-Valley's success.   [player_tooltip player_id='2862517' first='Kobe' last='Krome'] (6'1" – G/F – JR) An athletic wing who affects the game on both ends, Krome is primed for a breakout season. His ability to guard multiple positions, attack the rim, and make plays in transition gives Tri-Valley flexibility on the perimeter. With a bigger role ahead, Kobe's all-around skill set should shine. Whether defending bigger wings, crashing the glass, or contributing offensively, he provides reliable two-way production. As a senior, his impact and consistency will be vital. "100% Energy & Effort: Game-speed intensity in every situation & positive energy and encouragement consistently."   "Communication: Vocal while on or off the court. Ask questions, vocalize positive energy, and communicate as a unit (bench and while on the floor)."   "Team Mentality: WE score. WE get stops on defense. WE over ME."   "Accountability: No one is above the standard. Feedback is given and received with respect by everyone."   PHD: What will your defense "hang its hat on"?   "Staying in a defensive stance and playing with high active hands. Competing with urgency and effectively communicating."   PHD: Who will be a couple of your lead guards?   "Our returners bring a presence of experience with playing at the varsity level. They all have the chance to step into larger roles this year. We also have a group of guys who are hungry to carve out their own roles in the backcourt this season."   PHD: How did the offseason go for your team/program?   "We were able to put in a lot of time on the court as a group. Worked on a lot of individual skills/fundamentals and played in a league at the Pentagon and attended 2 Team Camps in the Summer. Have been able to have quite a few open gyms throughout the Fall. Was a beneficial off-season - we believe we were able to continuously improve."   PHD: Who are a few of your top defensive players and why?   "Yet to be seen. We will look for the entire roster to meet expectations of effort and urgency on the defensive side of the ball."   PHD: Who are a couple of up-and-comers to look out for?   "Lawson Schneidermen (6'2" - G/F - SO) saw some varsity action last year as a freshman. We have a solid group of underclassmen who are all eager for the opportunity to contribute to the program."   PHD: Who do you think will be your best rebounders   "[player_tooltip player_id='3067361' first='Ty' last='Oyen'] comes back as the team's leading rebounder from a season ago. We have a variety of guys on our roster who are capable of being effective rebounders."   PHD: What are your team goals this year?   "Season goals will remain a constant in our program. This year, and every year, our goals are to still be improving at the end of the season and consistently meet & exceed expectations of program non-negotiables (100% Energy & Effort, Communication, Team Players, & Accountability)."   PHD: Who are the top teams & players in your Region?   "I am still familiarizing myself with the area prep basketball scene at the moment. I know the DAK XII has high-level talent through and through."   PHD: Any last comments about the upcoming season?   "Excited for my first season at Tri-Valley. The coaching staff is eager to be able to work with the guys on a daily basis and compete."
