When it comes to freshmen, some players are immediately ready to contribute, while others require time to develop. This varies greatly from program to program. However, the Class of 2029 boasts several promising freshmen poised for significant impact. Here are some standouts to watch:

[player_tooltip player_id='3035703' first='Harry' last='Hendrix'], Highland

Highland, an already impressive program boasting talented players, has discovered another promising prospect who could make significant contributions. This is particularly noteworthy given their already loaded roster. Hendrix is an athlete poised to make a significant impact and capture attention. Remember the name [player_tooltip player_id='3035703' first='Harry' last='Hendrix'].

[player_tooltip player_id='2809835' first='Beckham' last='Skinner'], Ridgeline

Skinner is a promising young player with significant skill and poise. His ability to play with a great pace is notable, and his high basketball IQ is evident in the passes he makes, as he develops into an excellent playmaker. It's not out of the question that he could see varsity playing time. Ridgeline has a good program, and Skinner could be their next floor general.

[player_tooltip player_id='3043000' first='Charlie' last='Cummard'], Timpview

Timpview is a top contender in 5A, and for good reason. They have two Division I players already committed to BYU. The BYU pipeline continues with [player_tooltip player_id='3043000' first='Charlie' last='Cummard']. His father was a standout at BYU and is now the Women's Head Coach. As is often the case with players who have a parent as a coach, Cummard possesses the necessary intelligence and skillset to be considered the next big impact player for Timpview's future.

Kir Nang, Anthem Prep

Get your popcorn out, Nang is going to be among the best players to come out of Utah. He might go unseen for a bit as he is playing at a newer prep school, but Anthem Prep is starting to turn the corner, and they will be spoken of among some of the other top prep schools in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='2809197' first='Ty' last='Kozlowski'], Corner Canyon

Kozlowski had himself a very productive spring and summer as he was among some of the best players in the country on the Jr. EYBL Circuit, and now he is ready to compete for time on one of the best programs in the state. He is growing as he is beyond 6'4 now. Incredible basketball IQ and foundation. He is a high-ceiling player who has the pedigree to be great.
