MIAA Underclassmen: Forwards to Watch

At 6'10", he has terrific positional size, fluidity, and plus length. He moves well in space, can knock down the occasional jumper, and already shows an understanding of how to use his length to his advantage. He has a quick first step on the perimeter, the size needed to finish over defenders in the paint, and a willingness to play through contact as a driver and finisher. At 6'5", he has the ability to play in the paint or on the perimeter, and can stretch a defense with his ability to knock down shots from behind the arc. Defensively, he uses his 6'5" frame to his advantage by making plays in passing lanes, cleaning up on the glass, and protecting the rim. He has the ability to play above the rim on both ends of the floor and can really get out and score in transition. He likes to get downhill off the bounce and does a nice job of attacking in straight line drives.
