Class C2 – Preseason Rising Prospects

He is an incredible athlete, showing the capability to dunk over defenders. He has great footwork and uses it when he straight-line drives. One of my favorite moves of his is his spin, he uses it a lot in the lane to create separation and finish around defenders. He can also stretch the floor and hit the three. He has a beautiful stroke from three and can get hot in a hurry. When he doesn't have the ball, he does a good job of relocating and moving to get open. Werner also possesses a nice dribble package, using it to break down his defenders and either get to the rim or dish it to a teammate. As a shooter, he has a great three-ball that he can get off in a hurry. He moves super well off the ball and has shown some impressive range as well. He will also be a big piece for his team on the defensive end, averaging a steal last year. Rodriguez moves his feet well and knows how to pressure the ball. With more experience under his belt, I think Holston will only continue to see those averages go up.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the biggest things that stands out about Holston, in my opinion, is what he brings on the defensive end. His long frame allows him to block and change his opponents' shots, as well as snatch rebounds out of the air on both ends of the floor. He also does a great job running the floor in transition. Overall, a young and raw prospect who has flashed a ton of potential. He has very good body control and doesn't play out of control. He has some nice handles that he uses well to break down his defender. He plays with a very high motor, and it is fun to watch, as he adds a lot of winning plays to his team.
