Going into his senior season, Zavier Mitchell Zavier Mitchell 6'4" | CG/PF Alma | 2026 NE has the chance to make plenty of noise.

A guy who can play multiple positions, Mitchell knows how to use his 6’4″ frame, and uses it well. He is an incredible athlete, showing the capability to dunk over defenders. He has great footwork and uses it when he straight-line drives. One of my favorite moves of his is his spin, he uses it a lot in the lane to create separation and finish around defenders. He can also stretch the floor and hit the three. Mitchell does a great job of using his frame on the defensive end as well, altering shots and snatching rebounds.

You want to talk about a 6’4 problem for opponents? Look no further than Zavier Mitchell of Alma High School. Mitchell is someone else that possesses the size, skill, and athletic ability that all coaches love to see, no matter the age level. Other than his physical prowess, Mitchell displayed that he has a nice touch on the ball, he isn’t about forcing unneeded action, and he can be moved around to a few different positions while still yielding positive results. I’m not sure what interest Mitchell has from the next level just yet but he would definitely be someone that I would look into if I was a collegiate coach. He was clearly a top prospect in the gym this weekend and I’m sure that will continue on for his next two seasons of high school ball as well.
