With the high school basketball season approaching we are looking at some under the radar names by breaking down film across Illinois.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125637' first='Jacob' last='Fuller'] (Glenbrook South – 2027)

This face up four isn't under the radar to us, but we feel he is primed for a breakout year at the high school level. He is a 6'8” floor spacing five man that can REALLY shoot it from three! One of the better pure shooters in the 2027 class regardless of position. What we were waiting for is his all-around game to evolve. He has top 5 in the class talent if that happens. We saw that on the film from July with Elevate. Mixed in more play inside with turnaround jumpers, up and unders, step throughs, seals, and put backs. Ran the floor hard and finished out of dunker spot. Also blocked shots with good anticipation on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='2832359' first='Harper' last='Lustenberger'] (Carterville – 2027)

Lustenberger has good positional size at 6'3” with the ability to play both on and off the ball. Fluid ball handler that can win off the bounce for crafty finishes. Works well around ball screens both as a shooter and passer. Plays with excellent pace. Clean looking three point shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125682' first='Sean' last='Reese'] (Glenbard South – 2027)

Reese is a 6'1” guard that has a strong build and really competes with fire! Crafty ball handler that can finish with either hand at the cup while using his physicality. Gets after it on the defensive end at the point of attack putting pressure on the ball. Sneaky rebounder for a guard.

Sivante Stokes (Canton – 2027)

Stokes is a junior guard with nice size at 6'3”. Good burst and powerful with the ball going downhill where he finishes with acrobatic conversions. Outstanding finisher with good footwork on his drives in the paint. Flashes as a pull up jump shooter. Works well around ball screens and makes quick reads as a passer on the move.

[player_tooltip player_id='2832712' first='William' last='Lehman'] (Carbondale – 2028)

At 6'3” Lehman had a productive summer for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075532' first='Illinois' last='Bears']. Strong build with a skilled game. Can shoot it off the catch and pulling up. Big time shot prep! More than just that as he has a knack for always being around the ball to make the right play. Spin moves with the ball in his hands into mid-range jumpers. Crafty getting downhill with an array of spins and slick handles.

[player_tooltip player_id='3028129' first='Brandon' last='Tennon'] (Tremont – 2027)

Tennon has good size at 6'4” on the wing. Good defender that uses his hands to impact laterally and vertically. Like the build and athletic pop playing above the rim. Good playing in transition and has nifty footwork in traffic. Interesting prospect to track this year.

Leo Brinias (Wauconda – 2027)

Brinias is a 5'10” lead guard for Wauconda. Smaller guard that moves his feet and is pesky on the defensive end. Wins on straight line takes with a soft touch finishing game and finishing around contact. Solid shooter with crisp mechanics. Makes nice passes off live dribbles.

[player_tooltip player_id='2831268' first='Chase' last='Pataky'] (Hersey – 2027)

Pataky is a heady player that has a solid skill set. Can shoot it from distance, is a solid passer, and makes the smart play. Clean release on the shot from three. Could be a nice rotation player for a good Hersey squad this season.
