The upcoming high school basketball season is around the corner with tryouts a couple of weeks away. The 2027 class is filled with talent that will make a impact on the hardwood this season, especially in the back court. Here are the 2027 Non-Public A shooting guards to track.

[player_tooltip player_id='2202020' first='Avery' last='Lynch'], 6'6 CBA

Lynch is the top-ranked shooting guard prospect in the class and should put it on display this season. The 6'6 guard has a clean release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Lynch is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and finishes well around the basket. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and moves well without the ball in his hands. Lynch is a talented guard prospect who should put up big numbers throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2509329' first='Ashton' last='Graves'], 6'4 Hudson Catholic

Graves transferred into the Garden State from the DMV area and has the potential to make an immediate impact. The 6'4 guard attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the rim and can make shots through contact. Graves can also score in the mid-range and rarely forces shots in the half court. He has the ability to run the offense at times and is an underrated rebounder. Graves is a tough guard prospect who should put his full game on display throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2568645' first='Austin' last='Kolakowski'], 6'0 Delbarton

Kolakowski had a solid summer and is looking to carry that over into the winter. The 6'0 guard has a smooth shooting stroke and can knock down triples in bunches. Kolakowski moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups in the half court. He rarely forces jumpers in the half court and slides his feet on the defensive end. Kolakowski is a sharpshooting guard prospect who should torch the nets from distance this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2201963' first='Antonio' last='Tristani'], 6'1 Bergen Catholic

Tristani will get the opportunity to play both back court spots, which will help his development in a big way. The 6'1 guard has a nice handle, which he uses to get to his spot on the floor and finds his open teammates in the half court. Tristani wastes little motion in his release and sets his feet before he shoots. He works hard on the defensive end and is an underrated rebounder. Tristani is a hard-working guard prospect who should make plays at both ends of the floor throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2895818' first='Imaad' last='Johnson'], 6'3 St. Joe's Metuchen

Johnson has the ability to have a breakout campaign as he should get more touches in the half court. The 6'3 guard has a quick first step, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and explodes for dunks in the half court. Johnson pushes the pace well in transition and can knock down open jumpers on the perimeter. He uses his length to be disruptive on the defensive end and is an underrated passer. Johnson is an athletic guard prospect whose ability to finish above the rim and defend the ball will help his stock throughout the course of the season.

Other Prospects to Track:

[player_tooltip player_id='2203813' first='Neel' last='Sappidi'], 6'2 Pingry

[player_tooltip player_id='2391282' first='Avery' last='George'], 6'3 Seton Hall Prep

[player_tooltip player_id='2930753' first='Brandon' last='Brathwaite'], 6'4 Paramus Catholic

[player_tooltip player_id='2763508' first='Dan' last='Lavan'], 6'2 St. John Vianney

[player_tooltip player_id='2673373' first='Isaac' last='Benedicto'], 6'0 DePaul Catholic

The upcoming high school basketball season is around the corner with tryouts a couple of weeks away. The 2027 class is filled with talent that will make a impact on the hardwood this season, especially in the back court. Here are the 2027 Non-Public A shooting guards to track.
