The Pangos All-Midwest Frosh/Soph Camp is annually one of the best events to check out young talent each fall. This year was no different. Here I examine prospects that made noise in Pangos Frosh/Soph Camp: Illinois 2028 Posts!

[player_tooltip player_id='2834463' first='Amari' last='Williams'] (Shepard – 2028)

Williams is the top post in the 2028 class in Illinois. The 6'9” five man is a broad shouldered post that brings big time rebounding. Consistently plays above the rim as he snatches the ball in traffic away from his opponents. Threw down lob finishes and out of the dunker spot. Was impressed with how well he passed it making several quick decisions that led to scores.

[player_tooltip player_id='2822666' first='Derrick' last='Moore'] (Lincoln Park – 2028)

Moore is a 6'5” big bodied center that has a good frame and length. He is pretty raw, but there are tools to work with. Rebounds well in his area including getting a couple of put backs. Solid post defender and had a couple finishes in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2951760' first='Pharoah' last='Hooks'] (St. Rita – 2028)

Hooks is a wide bodied 6'3” five man that probably isn't going to grow much more. Did like how well he rebounded in his area as he had a feel for where it was coming off the glass.
