Region 14: Small School Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We're starting to wrap up our small school standout lists as we stay in eastern Kentucky, a region with the highest concentration of “small schools.” That includes Breathitt County, Buckhorn, Cordia, Hazard, Jackson City, Jenkins, June Buchanan, Knott County Central, Lee County, Leslie County, Owsley County and Wolfe County. Just last year, the area featured top-tier players like Breathitt County's Austin Sperry and Hazard's Evin Eversole. A true three-level scorer, he can finish around the rim, pull up in the mid-range, and stretch defenses from deep, where he shot 36% last season. Caudill has already surpassed 1,000 career points and averaged 14.4 points per game as a junior while shooting 48% from the field. He's especially dangerous when he gets hot, with the ability to swing momentum in a matter of possessions, and he has shown the poise to deliver in clutch situations. Flinchum's combination of size, skill, and scoring ability will make him a priority for college programs.
