Dinos Trigonis and the team at Pangos hosted their annual All-East Frosh/Soph Camp this past weekend, bringing in nearly two hundred underclassmen from across the East Coast. After taking in a full day of action on Sunday, we'll conclude coverage with a handful of 2029 guard prospects who caught the eye with their play.

Among a talented crop of prospects, Postell was quite easily the most advanced and complete 2029 guard who we saw. Having already built a reputation since the summertime as one of the state's premier incoming freshmen, he affirmed his status with his selection as Top-30 all-star this past weekend. Postell brings great positional size and showed a snappy handle to create space for his own shot with natural touch extending out to the arc. The son of a former Syracuse defensive back with an uncle who played in the NBA, he boasts a promising long-term foundation with it looking like only a matter of time before D1 coaches begin taking notice.

Among the more electric guards we saw on the day, Carter caught the eye during his lone game of the morning before really taking center stage in the Top-30 all-star game. A slender, quick guard with length to grow into over time, Carter was effective using his slick handle to create space for a feathery jumper that he had no issue getting off over bigger defenders. He played with tremendous confidence and looked to be one of the more dynamic natural scorers in the gym. We'll have to see him in more structured settings, and there's a long way to go as Carter is barely 14 and a half years old, but he's certainly on the radar after his standout weekend.

Toomer entered camp having built a reputation on this past summer's 15U EYBL circuit as one of the premier long-range snipers in the region. Having since transferred from Fordham Prep (NY) to Masters as a repeat freshman after cutting his teeth right away in the CHSAA, Toomer showed en route to a Top-30 all-star selection that he has far more in his bag than just making shots. The budding lead guard was effective navigating to spots off the bounce, making plays for others and particularly putting pressure on the rim in the open floor. It was an opportunity to see his overall skillset, which provides Toomer an intriguing long-term upside if he can build up his body and athleticism in the years to come.

In a camp setting that can sometimes devolve into lackadaisical all-star style of play, one surefire way to stand out is by always playing hard. Anum fit that statement to a tee, bringing a nonstop motor to both ends of the floor with a physical frame and versatile skillset to match. Making the trip from North Carolina, Anum was effective as a utility guard, filling in gaps as a perimeter shooter and opportunistic driver after catching the ball on the wing. We'd hope to see him grow a couple inches in the coming years to fit into his current role at the next level, but Anum showed enough to be on the radar moving forward with clear long-term upside at the scholarship level.

We admittedly didn't get to see a ton of Stanley, catching a brief glimpse from a court over during his lone game of the morning and a bit more during the Top-60 all-star game, but what he did show was enough to warrant mention here as a long-term name worth filing away. He stood out immediately with dripping length and graceful athleticism, and in an age where the 3-and-D role is increasingly valued on the wing, showed a promising foundation as a consistent shooter from beyond the arc. We'll be monitoring Stanley closely while he gets his feet wet at the high school level, as he looks to have long-term talent worth tracking for the D1 level.
