Juniors I’m Tracking

He's a true student of the game. The kind of player that I feel like could drop 25 on any given night, but instead wants to play winning basketball. If a W depends on him getting buckets, he'll get them. I haven't scouted him lately, but I know the last time that I did, I came away more than impressed. He was a terrific all around athlete with an explosive first step. This is a young man with tons of upside and he has the footwork for a post to make the most of that talent. Nemmers has good defensive instincts and naturally protects the rim. They come with high basketball IQ's and understanding of pace and game situations. Byrd is an athletic wing that can make plays. He can attack a double lane and finish at the rim. He has size to combine with a nice face up game. Merlington works really well off the high post using ball fakes and a straight line drive.
