Teams have been competing in various preseason leagues statewide, showcasing talent from emerging underclassmen to seasoned senior standouts. The action has been intense, filled with high-energy games, clutch performances, and rising players making their mark. One of the most consistent platforms has been Hoop Group's fall league at its Neptune, NJ headquarters — a longtime staple for Shore Conference programs that continues to deliver exciting matchups. With that in mind, let's highlight some of the top performers from Monday night's slate earlier this week.    An excellent floor spacing threat as a perimeter shooter, [player_tooltip player_id='2202020' first='Avery' last='Lynch'] demonstrated his ability to be a fluid and in rhythm catch and shoot shooter, consistently knocking down open shots and making defenses pay for late closeouts during Monday's action. A multi faceted offensive weapon with good feel for the game, Lynch also contributed in other areas— initiating offense, moving well without the ball and cutting to open space, being a connective passer, and even being impactful on the offensive glass.     An intriguing dynamic combo guard with legit ball skills, [player_tooltip player_id='2948559' first='Jayden' last='Opoku'] flashed his creativity off the bounce as a smooth shot creator. Opoku showcased his ability to be an efficient shot maker from the perimeter off the catch and getting to his spots with pace in the mid range area off the bounce.     A skilled, poised, and dynamic playmaker with an interesting combination of decision making and shot making, [player_tooltip player_id='2504904' first='Izayah' last='Cooper'] displayed his advanced feel for the game. Cooper is a strong and confident ball handler who displayed his ability to be a precise passer with a little bit of flare and a smart decision maker. Cooper also displayed his ability to be a smooth and confident in rhythm shooter off the catch, with range too.     A reliable and productive guard, [player_tooltip player_id='2107954' first='Charlie' last='Marcoullier'] demonstrated his ability to provide efficient offense out of CBA's backcourt. Marcoullier displayed his ability to often times absorb contact and finish strong on a number of dribble drives at the basket. Marcoullier also flashed his perimeter shooting ability while also demonstrating his ability to be an additional reliable ball handler for CBA's offense.     Providing optimal floor spacing ability at the wing spot for Linden's offense, [player_tooltip player_id='1595685' first='Jekhi' last='Burnam'] was aggressive from the perimeter during Monday's action— demonstrating his ability to be a reliable threat from three point range. Burnam also mixed in a few finishes with good touch around the basket converting on a number of floaters in the lane.     An interesting combination of size and both inside and outside skill, [player_tooltip player_id='2884536' first='Evan' last='Wells'] impressed Monday evening with fluid catch and shoot ability. Possessing a smooth and compact shooting release, Wells demonstrated his floor spacing ability through a number of pick and pop actions as well as a standstill shooter off the ball.     A versatile guard with a strong and confident handle, [player_tooltip player_id='2633990' first='Clint' last='Martin'] impressed in the different ways he was able to contribute offensively. Martin demonstrated his ability to be a strong finisher at the basket on a number of dribble drives attacking the basket, even with his off hand. Martin was also effective shouldering some of the ball handling responsibilities, orchestrating Rumson's offense at times. Martin also flashed his three point shooting ability off the catch.     A strong ball handler with smooth movements off the bounce, Derek Roth showed flashes of his creative shot making. Getting to his spots with a smooth and under control pace, Roth showed his capabilities of being a reliable go to scorer for Central Regional's offense.     A versatile two way piece that doesn't mind doing the little things on the floor to impact winning, Abraham Desrosiers thrived as a finisher and an offensive rebounder while also showing flashes of being an additional ball handler for Linden's offense. Desrosiers consistently crashed the glass, generating extra possessions and getting offensive put backs while also finishing out the dunker spot and sprinting the floor in transition. With Linden being a little short handed in the backcourt, Desrosiers also flashed his ability to shoulder some of the ball handling responsibilities and handle the basketball against pressure.
