The month of September I spent 3-4 nights at the AZ Compass Fall League. It is a nice combination of some top AIA teams combined with some of the best prep schools in Arizona.

Here were some of the 2026 Guard Standouts

[player_tooltip player_id='994689' first='Noah' last='George'] Bella Vista Prep

A quickly improving guard is becoming one of the better guard athletes in the class. He scores it with mid-range jumpers off the dribble, quick drives in traffic thru traffic and he will explode off of two-feet to dunk way above the rim. He made clutch free throws down the stretch to seal a victory.

[player_tooltip player_id='2211004' first='Rokiem' last='Green'] Bella Vista Prep

A sharp shooting scoring guard is a 3 and D type with great length and toughness. He scores it with offensive rebound put backs, floaters but he is an instant shot maker and taker from the three point line with good ball rotation on it. He had an impressive 25+ points. He just committed to San Jose State.

[player_tooltip player_id='2211006' first='Jordan' last='Charles'] Bella Vista Prep

One of the top point guards in the class had a great showing for himself. He guided the Grind Session team flawlessly making play after play with point point ropes up the court, drive and kicks after he perfectly sucks in the defense. He scores with lob dunks, fall aways, blow by and perimeter jumpers. He is tough on the ball defensively. He had 10+ assists.

[player_tooltip player_id='2144878' first='Jacob' last='Williford'] Phhoenix Prep OTE (Pictured)

A good sized CG with some bounce and instincts. He is a tenacious defender, a good passer and a natural scorer. He is very physical on defense and rips pockets plus uses his bounce and size to rebound. He gets downhill with a physical approach, hits the three and loves the mid-range pull-up.

[player_tooltip player_id='1834650' first='Jelani' last='McKoy'] Bella Vista Prep

A scoring guard is a lefty sharp shooter. He is very athletic and quick to get to the basket with his speed with the ball and often gets to the free throw line. He will hit the three in bunches and fall away from his defender from mid-range. He is a good on-ball defender using his twitch and length.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552394' first='Andre' last='Tyler'] Higley

One of the better wing scorers in the AIA had an easy 26 points in the game I viewed. He scores it impressively from all three levels with next level body control on the break and is strong to absorb the contact, mid-range jumpers with high elevation, tip dunks and put backs off the glass. He is also a sneaky good passer with an unselfish nature and team first attitude.

[player_tooltip player_id='1482211' first='Noah' last='Gloor'] Higley

A sharp shooting lead guard has deep volleyball line three point range. He has one of the quicker releases in the class. He also has a nasty pull-up from mid-range and will smartly play off of two feet and make a play to a teammate.

[player_tooltip player_id='2800821' first='Nishayne' last='Sharpe'] Bella Vista Prep

A very fast scoring guard who can score from all three levels. He has an impressive quick burst he uses to get to the basket and can shoot it with mid-range pull-ups and threes off the catch. He is also a good passer. He finished with 20+ points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2039505' first='Braylon' last='Haman'] Phhoenix Prep Hood

A quick on quick scoring real point with a super tight handle to create separation from his defender. He has next level court vision with drive and kicks and and will score from all levels. He shoots the three off the catch, he gets downhill to the basket and is super fast in the open court. He had one of the most assists in one game I viewed with 8.

[player_tooltip player_id='1323294' first='Will' last='Gordon'] AZ Compass Prep Grind

A scoring combo guard had a breakout game. He had 32 big points, which was the most points I viewed on the three days. He scored with highly contested layups, big time dunks, post ups, crossover into a reverse layup, catch threes with deep range and a couple jab steps. He got to the line multiple times and cashed in.

[player_tooltip player_id='1845363' first='Rajan' last='Roberts'] AZ Compass Prep EYBL

A physical framed scoring point guard who is aggressive to get downhill and he is very stout on defense. He has a strong base with some size who can hit the three off the catch but he is a natural physical driver and facilitator.

[player_tooltip player_id='1464982' first='Miles' last='Sadler'] Bella Vista Prep EYBL

One of the top point guards in the prep division and in the country plays at a different speed then most. He uses his jets in the open court and will burst past his defenders and then find teammates in stride for lobs, kicks and up the court dimes. He gets to the rim and will lay it in over the crowd plus shoot it from the perimeter. He will once again guide his Top-5 team in the country in the prestigious EYBL scholastic league.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150823' first='Kalek' last='House'] AZ Compass Prep EYBL

A tough combo guard plays on and off the ball. He made contested shoots in traffic as he smartly shields his body from the shot blockers to score it. He found his groove from deep well beyond the three point line with six triples and he scored 24 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1782699' first='Quincy' last='Wadley'] AZ Compass Prep EYBL

A long guard/wing with bounce and skill. He is a crazy leaper who can get downhill with his long strides to the basket. He scores it with offensive rebound tip dunks (which was an impressive play), fall aways from mid-range over defenders outstretched arms and threes with range using a super quick trigger. He has unusually long arms to play the passing lanes and collect steals.
