1. Tigerton -- Tigerton aims to capture its third straight Central Wisconsin North crown behind the return of three players who rank among the elite in the league. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='2382317' first='James' last='Brady'] (6-10, 20.3 ppg, 10.9 rpg, 2.1 bspg) is a dominating big man that opponents will have trouble defending due to his size, improved endurance, strength and soft touch in the post. With Brady controlling things on both ends of the court near the basket, senior guards [player_tooltip player_id='2947704' first='Sam' last='Anheuser'] (5-10, 9.2 ppg, 3.6 rpg) and [player_tooltip player_id='2947705' first='Caleb' last='Dahlstrom'] (5-11, 7.6 ppg, 2.6 rpg) patrol things on the perimeter for coach Dan Hoffa. Both are capable scorers, solid defenders and experienced performers for Tigerton. Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='2947706' first='Gavin' last='Kielblock'] (6-3, 5.3 ppg, 4.0 rpg), [player_tooltip player_id='3022559' first='Brody' last='Miller'] (5-6, 4.4 ppg, 2.2 rpg) and [player_tooltip player_id='3022561' first='Tanner' last='Dent'] (6-0, 2.9 ppg, 2.3 rpg) also figure to be in the mix for Tigerton.

2. Northland Lutheran -- The better scorers from last year's squad -- Andrew Wiechmann (18.8 ppg), Joe Oblender (12.6 ppg) and Andrew Bolin (11.3 ppg) -- graduated last spring, leaving some big holes in the Northland Lutheran lineup. But coach Ryan Wiechmann always seems to put competitive squads on the floor and that should be the case once again this winter. Junior forward [player_tooltip player_id='3021477' first='Sam' last='Song'] (5-11, 6.4 ppg, 3.3 rpg) and senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='3021476' first='Zeb' last='Prahl'] (5-11, 5.9 ppg, 2.1 rpg) were regulars for last year's squad that went 12-10. In addition, junior [player_tooltip player_id='3021481' first='Braydn' last='Screnock'] (5-9, 4.1 ppg, 3.4 rpg) and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='3021479' first='Philip' last='Oblender'] (6-0, 2.9 ppg, 2.4 rpg) also return.

3. Marion -- The Mustangs went into last season without a senior on its roster. And the results were somewhat predictable as Marion finished 3-22. Coach Dave Roe starts his eighth year hoping his players can improve dramatically on that record in 2025-26. Five starters and a couple of key reserves form the core for the Mustangs, led by a pair of honorable mention all-league picks in senior [player_tooltip player_id='3009337' first='Nolan' last='Wisnefski'] (6-4, 8.7 ppg, 6.6 rpg) and junior [player_tooltip player_id='3020918' first='Braylon' last='Mielke'] (5-11, 9.4 ppg, 7.2 rpg). Also returning are seniors [player_tooltip player_id='3020912' first='Elijah' last='Scheef'] (6-1, 4.6 ppg, 5.1 rpg) and Sahne Blum (5-10, 2.7 ppg, 2.7 rpg) along with junior [player_tooltip player_id='3020910' first='Sawyer' last='Kamba'] (5-10, 3.1 ppg, 6.0 rpg) and sophomores [player_tooltip player_id='3009333' first='Breckyn' last='DeWhurst'] (5-9, 5.9 ppg, 1.8 rpg) and [player_tooltip player_id='3009345' first='Jolanzo' last='LeRoy-Pere'] (5-10, 4.1 ppg, 3.2 rpg).

4. White Lake -- With just 46 students enrolled, White Lake is fighting a numbers game almost every season. But the Lakers, coming off a 14-8 campaign, won't have that issue in 2025-26 with plenty of returning players. Coach [player_tooltip player_id='2388676' first='Aaron' last='Wickersheim'] will count heavily on four-year varsity starter [player_tooltip player_id='2388676' first='Aaron' last='Wickersheim'] (5-10, 17.9 ppg, 6.6 rpg), one of the premier offensive forces in northern Wisconsin. Wickersheim is one of three returning starters along with senior [player_tooltip player_id='3022908' first='Tray' last='Watkins'] (6-2, 5.3 ppg, 7.2 rpg) and junior [player_tooltip player_id='3022910' first='Brice' last='Peters'] (5-11, 2.1 ppg, 3.2 rpg). Junior [player_tooltip player_id='3022917' first='Sebastian' last='Campbell-Torres'] (5-10, 2.7 ppg, 2.8 rpg) also returns.

5. Bowler -- Replacing the 18.4 ppg provided by the graduated Derek Schreiber won't be easy for the Panthers, but coach Matt Brunner has one of the better backcourt performers to turn to in junior [player_tooltip player_id='3019144' first='Chase' last='Stevens'] (6-0, 13.8 ppg, 3.3 rpg), an honorable mention all-league selection as a sophomore. Juniors [player_tooltip player_id='3019147' first='Jameson' last='Paiser'] (5-11, 7.9 ppg, 3.6 rpg) and [player_tooltip player_id='3019142' first='Mason' last='Kolpack'] (5-9, 4.3 ppg, 2.6 rpg) also returns to the Bowler backcourt. Finding enough interior defense and rebounding is a concern for Brunner as the Panthers lack size.

6. Gresham -- Brett Nelson starts his second season as the head coach at Gresham hoping for improvement over last year's 7-18 record. He might get his wish as the Wildcats boast an experienced squad led by junior [player_tooltip player_id='3020200' first='Thomas' last='Kaquatosh'] (5-10, 9.8 ppg, 10.8 rpg). Kaquatosh is one of the most productive players in the Central Wisconsin North and the best rebounder in the league not named [player_tooltip player_id='2382317' first='James' last='Brady']. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='3020196' first='Kevin' last='Miller'] (6-0, 8.4 ppg, 4.9 rpg) is a four-year starter at Gresham while classmate [player_tooltip player_id='3020195' first='Kobe' last='Miller'] (6-3, 8.1 ppg, 6.0 rpg) also returns with a boatload of experience. Other returning players include junior [player_tooltip player_id='3020199' first='Nolan' last='Pecore'] (5-10, 4.6 ppg) along with seniors [player_tooltip player_id='3020201' first='Jordan' last='Mendez'] (5-10) and [player_tooltip player_id='3020197' first='Wyatt' last='Nietzer'] (5-8, 4.2 ppg, 1.9 rpg).

Top Returning Scorers

[player_tooltip player_id='2382317' first='James' last='Brady'] (Tigerton) 20.3 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='2388676' first='Aaron' last='Wickersheim'] (White Lake) 17.9 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='3019144' first='Chase' last='Stevens'] (Bowler) 13.8 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='3020200' first='Thomas' last='Kaquatosh'] (Gresham) 9.8 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='3020918' first='Braylon' last='Mielke'] (Marion) 9.4 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='2947704' first='Sam' last='Anheuser'] (Tigerton) 9.2 ppg

Projected All-Conference Teams
First Team

[player_tooltip player_id='2382317' first='James' last='Brady'], 6-10, Jr., Tigerton
[player_tooltip player_id='2947704' first='Sam' last='Anheuser'], 5-10, Sr., Tigerton
[player_tooltip player_id='3020200' first='Thomas' last='Kaquatosh'], 5-10, Jr., Gresham
[player_tooltip player_id='2947705' first='Caleb' last='Dahlstrom'], 5-11, Sr., Tigerton
[player_tooltip player_id='2388676' first='Aaron' last='Wickersheim'], 5-10, Sr., White Lake

Second Team
[player_tooltip player_id='3019144' first='Chase' last='Stevens'], 6-0, Jr., Bowler
[player_tooltip player_id='3020918' first='Braylon' last='Mielke'], 5-11, Jr., Marion
[player_tooltip player_id='3009337' first='Nolan' last='Wisnefski'], 6-4, Sr., Marion
[player_tooltip player_id='3021477' first='Sam' last='Song'], 5-11, Jr., Northland Lutheran
[player_tooltip player_id='3021476' first='Zeb' last='Prahl'], 5-11, Sr., Northland Lutheran

The Big Five

Best Shooter: [player_tooltip player_id='2388676' first='Aaron' last='Wickersheim'], White Lake
Best Defender: [player_tooltip player_id='2947704' first='Sam' last='Anheuser'], Tigerton
Best Rebounder: [player_tooltip player_id='2382317' first='James' last='Brady'], Tigerton
Best Collegiate Prospect: [player_tooltip player_id='2382317' first='James' last='Brady'], Tigerton
Most Improved: [player_tooltip player_id='3021476' first='Zeb' last='Prahl'], Northland Lutheran
