CBG JUCO/PREP Fall Finale 4/5 "BIG" Man Watch List

The CBG JUCO/Prep Fall Finale in Glen Allen, Virginia is set to spotlight some of the most promising big men in the region, drawing attention from scouts and fans alike. This year's watch list features a talented group of forwards and centers who possess the size, skill, and athleticism to impact the game on both ends of the floor. From mobile rim protectors to versatile frontcourt scorers, these prospects are primed to make their mark as they compete against top-tier competition and showcase their potential for the next level.    So far this fall, Luka has been efficient player for Andrews Osbourne Academy (OH) this fall. His ability to stroke the jumper from beyond the arc has been somewhat inconsistent. Still, his athletic tools continue to show meaningful progress, with his vertical explosiveness as a lob threat and ability to connect plays translating well at higher levels of competition. The swing skill for Lokhmanchuk remains his shooting, which will largely determine his long-term projection as a prospect. Nevertheless, his physical profile, versatility, and overall upside make him one of the more intriguing long-term bets in this class.     Otita is a long, mobile big man with a high motor and unselfish approach to the game. He's a low-maintenance piece who consistently rebounds, alters shots, and scores within the flow of the action. Otita finishes very well on the block, displaying footwork and touch with both hands, but can also stretch the floor at a respectable rate. Otita to improve on his ability to move without the ball, as it would allow him to find even more scoring opportunities. Otita is a versatile big man. He can play with his back to the basket, step out to shoot the three, or handle the ball on the perimeter. He also can guard multiple positions and is more than capable of switching on ball screens.     Played for Uplay of Canada this summer. Sacco is a long, mobile big man with a wiry frame and phenomenal instincts as an interior defender. His timing coupled with his ability to recover, really allows him to anchor a defense. Sacco deters drivers with his sheer presence in the paint. He displays great understanding of screening actions and is athletic enough to move his feet on hedges and switches along the perimeter. Sacco blocks and alters a ton of shots but also rebounds his position and runs the floor well in transition. He's a capable finisher around the basket.     Capable of playing either big man spot, the mobile four-man showed the ability to contain defensively on the perimeter, had countless explosive dunks off lobs/offensive rebounds, and can be unstoppable in the paint when his motor starts going. The combination of raw offensive talent, athleticism, and physical stature that shows Kalojoni is a legit Division I college prospect.     Toby Howard, a 6-foot-9 do it all forward. The new age forward made a few tough catch/finishes in pick and roll play, played above the rim in the CBG Series II, and was a threat to shoot it from 3-point range with his feet set. I am looking forward to seeing Toby this weekend to continue his solid interior play around the rim. Hitting the boards, finishing with authority and showed fluidly offensive skill set.
