A post grad prospect now in Ohio, Lokhmanchuk was active on both ends of the floor for Andrew’s Osborne Academy on Friday afternoon. Lokhmanchuk’s length allows him to block shots, jump passing lanes and secure offensive rebounds for extra possessions. A fluid athlete in the open court, Lokhmanchuk has a ton of upside on a team that wants to run in transition. One of the top available 2026 prospects in Ohio, Lokhmanchuk has taken visits to UTEP and Youngstown State and could be nearing a commitment.

Luka is a skilled 6-foot-10 forward from Ukraine. He is a fluid-moving international prospect who excels in open space, demonstrating comfort and versatility on the perimeter. Lokhmanchuk’s ability to score in a variety of ways makes him a valuable offensive weapon.

So far this fall, Luka has been efficient player for Andrews Osbourne Academy (OH) this fall. His ability to stroke the jumper from beyond the arc has been somewhat inconsistent. Still, his athletic tools continue to show meaningful progress, with his vertical explosiveness as a lob threat and ability to connect plays translating well at higher levels of competition. The swing skill for Lokhmanchuk remains his shooting, which will largely determine his long-term projection as a prospect. Nevertheless, his physical profile, versatility, and overall upside make him one of the more intriguing long-term bets in this class.

Lokhmanchuk impressed with his ability to do the dirty work and had no problem being an unsung hero for his squad. He was in the right spots to collect turnovers and turn them into scoring chances. He moves very fluidly. He was active on the boards and was a magnet for rebounds. Lokhmanchuk has a good feel for the game and can find others. Mid and high major programs in need of a late front-court piece should look no further to Lokhmanchuk.

A native of Ukraine who split his lone season in the U.S. between prep powers Patrick School (NJ) and Putnam Science (CT), Lokhmanchuk sports an intriguingly versatile inside-out skillset on both ends of the floor that could make a program really happy late in the cycle. With ideal positional size and a strikingly natural court sense, the hybrid forward seamlessly toggles across responsibilities within the span of a single possession while exploiting mismatches using his IQ and well-rounded skillset. Unafraid to mix it up with his size and deceptive strength, he’s equally comfortable sneaking inside to take advantage of smaller wings or operating off the bounce on the perimeter. A sleeper hiding in plain sight, it wouldn’t be a shock for Lokhmanchuk to even impact the high-major level at some point down the line if he’s able to show more confidence and consistency as a shooter from the perimeter.

Luke Lokmanchuk displayed much of his unique combination of both size and offensive skill. Standing at 6’9″, Lokmanchuk’s performance Sunday saw him run the floor well in transition and finish above the rim, knock down open shots from three point range off the catch, as well as use his length and athleticism to not only be active on the glass but also protect the rim.
